Continuity mistake: When Gina locks the door after Michael leaves, the close up of the lock is different than the one on the door. On the door, the top of the faceplate is right next to the deadbolt knob, but in the close-up there's a lot more space that you can't even see the top of the faceplate.
Continuity mistake: When Michael is getting Dr. Bergstrom out of Goliath, he steps onto K.I.T.T.'s hood and Bergstrom is to his right, in the next shot Bergstrom is to his left.
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (1) - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When KITT first stops talking the Auto Normal and Pursuit mode indicators change from old fashioned very angular with a different font and switches to the newer rounded rectangle with then new font. It does this several times.
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (1) - S1-E1
Other mistake: As Michael is driving to Millston, he asks about a radio. When KITT first asks "What would you like to hear?", the red square that indicates he is speaking doesn't blink until the camera does a close up on it.
Other mistake: The chemicals in the pool eat the seats, including the metal hardware, the steering wheel, and all the electronics, but the tires remain intact, and inflated.
Suggested correction: Molecular Bonded Shield protects KITT's exterior including tires, while his interior isn't protected. Therefore, his tires haven't been destroyed by acid.
Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the episode, the convoy moves out, with KITT bringing up the rear. If you look, there's nobody in KITT's driver sear. As KITT exits the yard, Michael is suddenly there, driving as usual.
Other mistake: In an overhead shot of KITT speeding through the desert after Lauren's plane, you can see parts of KITT's hood wobbling against the wind. I seriously doubt a car made to be indestructible would have that happen.
Continuity mistake: Watch the scene where KARR engages in bank robberies. In one charge scene, KARR has the sticker job from Slammin' Sammy's episode, which it doesn't have at any other point.
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (1) - S1-E1
Deliberate mistake: Watch the scene when Michael fell asleep. At the end of the cop chase the cops get out. Watch the license plate California KNIGHT in yellow letters. The next scene reads Nevada MCC224 and has an original Trans Am rather than KITT's rear.
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: The crooks steal KITT. When KITT announces himself, the crooks slam on the brakes. When the car comes to a halt, the back seat cushion is thrown forward. When the crooks take off, the back seat looks as if it hasn't ever moved forward.
Other mistake: 99% of the shots when Michael presses the 'Turbo Boost' button, it's the same shot repeated over and over.
No Big Thing - S1-E8
Visible crew/equipment: After the sheriff radios to the trucker to stop Michael Knight, you can see KITT drive by another KITT parked on the side of the road in the overhead shot. (00:23:40)
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (1) - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Michael's bandages are being taken off, his nose and mouth are clear, but after Devon shows up they're covered and are being removed again.
Knight Rider [Pilot; a.k.a. Knight of the Phoenix] (1) - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When the police helicopter sees dead Michael by the car, he turns 180ยบ around between shots.
Continuity mistake: When KITT drives off the edge of the cliff, the car changes from a pontiac to another standard car a number of times. When KITT lands, his flight trajectory was from approximately 10 feet, not 100 feet. He should have landed like a belly flop onto the sand, not a shallow dive.
Continuity mistake: When KITT jumps into the empty factory to save Michael the ramp is set a foot higher than the floor, yet when they drive out the same hole, the ramp is level with the floor so it can be driven down.
Give Me Liberty... or Give Me Death - S1-E15
Revealing mistake: When the van overturns at the end of the episode, you can easily see the padded roll bars used to protect the actors inside. These bars don't appear anywhere else in the episode.
Continuity mistake: When KITT is pushed over the mountain by the earthmover, you can see the front bumper is actually a stock Trans-Am bumper instead of KITT's normal one.
Just My Bill - S1-E6
Revealing mistake: At the parking lot when the cop calls in a tow truck for the first time, you can spot a man inside the car wearing a white shirt hiding inside. He moves his head trying to avoid the camera angle but fails.
No Big Thing - S1-E8
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera looks at KARR's modulator, it appears to be nowhere in the futuristic dashboard.
