Cursed - S1-E13

Character mistake: Cameron suggests the patient is suffering from either "Buerger's disease" or "Berger's disease" (it isn't clear which she means). Foreman rejects this out of hand, since he says the patient has never been out of the USA. However, neither of those two diseases is region-specific. Buerger's disease relates to thrombosis (clotting) of arteries and veins of the hands and feet, and is associated with the use of tobacco. Berger's disease relates to kidney inflammation. Character mistake: In this episode we learn that Chase is 26 years old. His parents were divorced when he was 15, and this was stated as being 15 years ago, which would make him 30, not 26.

Trivia: Hugh Laurie auditioned for the role as Dr. Gregory House in his hotel room bathroom in Namibia. He was rehearsing his role for the film The Flight of the Phoenix and claimed that the bathroom was the only place with enough light. He also apologized for his appearance on tape before the audition as he'd just come back from filming. The fact that House has a somewhat scruffy and unkempt look, particularly his constant five o'clock shadow, has been attributed by creator David Shore to Laurie's appearance in this audition tape.

Question: In the last episode of Season 1 (Honeymoon) towards the beginning when House first asks for a diagnosis from the other 3 doctors, he asks something along the lines of "Have I missed anything?" after he explains what to do. After he says that Dr. Chase says "Kitchen sink" House starts to say something then stops and says "Oh, you minx" What did Chase mean when he said kitchen sink?

Answer: It comes from the phrase "Everything but the kitchen sink." He's saying that House has thought of "everything but the kitchen sink."
