Days of Shine and Roses - S2-E1

Other mistake: When the General does a jump during their shortcut, it goes through a tree, and lands mostly on the left side of the car, but the next shot, it's still going.

Days of Shine and Roses - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: When Rosco gets out of the car with the Detour sign, the arrow points to the right, the way Boss went. When he sets the sign up, it points left. Then after Luke grabs it and sets it out ahead of Jessie, it points back to the right.

Gold Fever - S2-E2

Plot hole: Roscoe and Enos are chasing the boys. They are well ahead of the Sheriff and go up into a semi with a conveniently made ramp to lose the cops. The dust was dissipated enough that Roscoe, coming up from the rear, could have seen the General in the trailer. Roscoe couldn't be that blind. Plus the trucker couldn't miss the movements of the truck settling down from the sudden adding of two tons.

Gold Fever - S2-E2

Revealing mistake: Toward the beginning, when the Dukes meet the Texans, when the Texans toss up shot glasses to shoot, you see a white wire attached to one of them, probably to bust the glass on cue.

The Meeting - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: After Boss and Roscoe come down to the jail where the Dukes have the mobsters trapped, Boss pulls out a cigar. After the camera cuts a wide shot, the cigar is missing. Then Boss pulls out the cigar again.

Road Pirates - S2-E5

Factual error: When Roscoe tries the same jump the Dukes did, his car goes nose first into the wall of the ravine. Upon a close up, Roscoe is fine, but not wearing a seatbelt. According to physics, he should go through the windshield or get cut up.

Road Pirates - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: When the boys and Cletus are being chased by Roscoe, they use the nitro. When the car is jumping the creek, as it is seen from the back before it lands, you can see one person wearing the Deputy hat. This shot was re-used from the beginning of the episode.

The Ghost of General Lee - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys from Sweetwater county try to steal Boss' safe, you see them pushing it up a ramp into the pickup truck. But in the next shot, when Daisy calls the operator, the safe is in the corner. And when Bo and Luke go to untie Daisy, the safe is gone.

Hazzard Connection - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Luke is slamming into the smugglers with "the Slammer" car they show a close up side shot of Luke turning into them. In this close up he is driving the general lee, then it cuts back to the slammer.

Granny Annie - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When in town, the boys see Enos coming out of the courthouse. They go to get out to get Granny Annie, you see Bo in the driver's side. After they see Roscoe and take off, they do the "skiing" (driving on two wheels) thing. When the General Lee sets back down on all fours, you see a blue shirt in the driver's window, suggesting that Luke is driving.

Movie Nut

Granny Annie - S2-E10

Audio problem: In the Boar's Nest, when the Oak Ridge Boys are singing, you hear a familiar "Yeee-haw!" This is from Bo, and you hear it now and again, even when you see Bo in a close up, and his mouth doesn't move.

Movie Nut

Granny Annie - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When the Dukes meet up with BB, they come from a side road onto the main road. When the shot goes in to a close up on BB, you don't see a side road. And half the time, you don't see any dust kicked up by the opposing vehicles.

Movie Nut

Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane: Ya dun scuffed my ve-hicle.

Double Sting - S1-E13

Question: In this episode, Jessie, ticked off that he had to pay the boy's bail, says that the mortgage payment has to be made to Jason Higgins. I thought that J.D. Hogg held the mortgage to the Duke farm. Has my memory got a hole in it?

Answer: Hogg didn't own the farm and hold the mortgage until that episode. He says that he "bought aII Jason's hoIdings Iast week", but the Dukes didn't know about it and thought they still had to pay Higgins.
