Revealing mistake: When Mr. Baxter punches Mr. Hicks you can see that Baxter's fist passes in front of Mr. Hicks face and dosen't actually hit him. Also Hicks' reaction is too late, and his head moves after Baxter's fist has passed him.
Revealing mistake: When the drunk Andrew is asleep in the boys' toilet cubicle, the wall shakes when Tommy shuts the outside door when Alan and Justin leave.

Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."
Vince: Where are you going?
Hollo: Nowhere.
Vince: Can I come?
Hollo: If you want to.
Trivia: When Banksie, Jackie, Jean-Paul and Sarah first arrive at the disused factory to drive Phil's car, the scaffolding in the background is on the Eastenders set which was under construction when this series was being filmed. From 1984 until 2001 Grange Hill was made at the BBC Elstree studio's, where Eastenders has been filmed since 1985.
