Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."
Visible crew/equipment: After they come out of their exam in the corridor, Duane and Stewpot are asking Pogo what he thinks of Christine, there is an overhead mic in shot above Duane.
Visible crew/equipment: Jeremy arrives late for the lesson, there is a shadow of the mic on the wall as he enters the room.
Visible crew/equipment: During the scene in the school canteen the overhead mic is in shot.
Visible crew/equipment: In her office when Mrs Mclusky is telling Mrs Woods that Derek is not to come to school for the next two weeks you can see a boom mike shadow on the wall behind Mrs Woods.
Other mistake: Jeremy tells Zammo and Jonah that his school, Rodney Bennett, has a headmaster called Mr Rathbone, but according to the sign outside Rodney Bennett the school has a head mistress, called Miss Carol.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene during the confrontation at the school gates between Gripper's and Woody's gangs, when Mr Hopwood intervenes, the parked cars on the road opposite the school change between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: The lighting rig is reflected in the door window of Mr Hopwood's registration class every time it is opened.
Visible crew/equipment: When Miss Mooney tells Roland he is exaggerating, a boom mike shadow is visible on the back of two girls' heads.
Visible crew/equipment: During the girls' PE lesson there is a boom mike shadow on the gymnasium wall.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the fight, a boy attacks Gripper with a chair. He is holding it upside down with the backrest against Gripper, who is holding the chair's legs and pushing the boy with it. The angle changes and the chair is the right way up, with Gripper pushing the other boy with it, holding onto the chair's legs. Another angle change and Gripper is holding the chair seat and pushing the boy with the backrest.
Continuity mistake: Claire Scott is leading the second section of the protest march, she sees the first section start marching towards the school, runs back and shouts "now." She is standing on the pavement in front of the marchers, as the march starts the angle changes and Claire is now in the road to the right of her previous position.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene Pogo and his girlfriend are running from Duane and Stewpot they cross a road where a red Volkswagen is parked. The angle changes and Daune and Stewpot cross the same road - there is now a white Ford Fiesta parked where the Volkswagen was.
Continuity mistake: When Duane and Stewpot are following Pogo along the canal path they walk past a wall covered in a large mural but the angle changes when Pogo stops - Duane and Stewpot fall against a metal shutter that wasn't there before.
Continuity mistake: When Duane and Stewpot are following Pogo in the playground, the same two girls walk past them twice.
Continuity mistake: When Gripper's gang have cornered Randir in the toilet cubicle, one of the gang is standing with the others outside the cubicle shouting abuse at Randir. The angle changes and he's standing at the sinks next to Gripper.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene when Pogo and his girlfriend get on a bus it is on route 260 to Hammersmith Broadway, but when they are on the bus waving at Duane and Stewpot from the back window it has changed to route 27 to Richmond.
Revealing mistake: In the final scene just before Stewpot and Duane spot Pogo with his girlfriend, at the start of this scene you can see a little boy jump up over the wall and wave to the camera.

Visible crew/equipment: When Brian and Kevin are driving slowly just before taking Julie's crisps, you can see the crew reflected in the car windows.
