Thunderbirds

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Virgil radios to Jeff that he is about to land on Mount Arkon, Jeff asks him what the weather's like, to which Virgil replies: "Pretty stormy, Father. Pretty stormy." Then we cut to an exterior of the airborne Thunderbird 2, which is absolutely covered in snow. Just moments later we get a long shot and suddenly Thunderbird 2 is no longer covered in snow. We then get a close-up of the cockpit view, where we see Virgil and Brains, and Thunderbird 2 is covered in snow again. We soon get another couple of shots where it alternates between Thunderbird 2 not snow-covered and then being covered in snow again. (00:28:00)

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Thunderbird 2 leaves the hangar on Tracy Island, it appears that Pod 3 has been selected (Pod 2 is visible to the right of Thunderbird 2), yet when Virgil and Brains arrive at Mount Arkan, the Transmitter Truck emerges from Pod 6. (The same continuity error also occurs in the episodes 'Vault of Death', 'Move - And You're Dead', 'Martian Invasion', 'The Perils of Penelope' and 'Day of Disaster', probably due to the same footage being re-used for those episodes).

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When we see Tin-Tin passed out on the table when Thunderbird 3 is on a collision course with the Sun, the style of writing of the "Safety Beam" and "On" and "Off" on the control panel change between shots.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Solarnaut Asher thinks he hears the radio in Sun Probe, we cut to a picture of a radio and we hear Alan's voice saying "Come in, Solar Module, this is International Rescue." However, the radio you see is Thunderbird 3's and not Sun Probe's.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Alan goes down in the elevator to turn off the safety beam, there is very little sweat on his face, but after a quick cut of his blurred vision, we cut back to Alan, and there is more sweat on his face than there was in the previous shot.

Operation Crash-Dive - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Scott arrives in Ireland in Thunderbird 1, he starts to land with the landing gear down and you can see wheels on the legs, but when Thunderbird 1 touches down, the wheels have changed to skis.

Operation Crash-Dive - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Gordon returns to Thunderbird 4 after making contact with the trapped crew, the configuration of the puppet-sized Thunderbird 4 doesn't match the model seen in long-shot.

Operation Crash-Dive - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Gordon is climbing up Fireflash to the cockpit, we see him just about to put the left rubber suckers onto the glass. However, in the close up shot, he is putting it onto the blue metal of the craft.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When Virgil is seating at the cockpit during the launch sequence of Thunderbird 2, he is wearing the clothes he wears on Tracy Island and his International Rescue costume appears. But when Alan comes down the lift, Virgil has suddenly changed into his IR costume.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When we see a close-up of Light-Fingered Fred in the prison cell, the games of noughts & crosses on the wall behind him are completely different to the ones seen in previous shots.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When Parker is sitting at the table waiting for his meal prepared by Lil, you can see that his knife is pointing to the left, but when Lil says "Now listen here, Nosey!" we cut back to Parker, and the knife is now facing straight.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When they are travelling the disused London Underground tunnels, Virgil is on the red hoverbike and Alan is on the blue hoverbike. In the next shot, they have swapped bikes, but when they arrive at the bank they have swapped back again.

Path of Destruction - S2-E2

Plot hole: In order to build up suspense, Virgil and Brains stand on the Crab Logger as its dangerous fuel is pumped out, despite the fact that it is hanging on the edge of a precipice. In fact they could have left as soon as they had plumbed in the pipes to empty the fuel tanks - the whole procedure is controlled by Scott in Thunderbird 1 and they make absolutely no contribution to the operation at all. They do not need to disconnect the pipes; they are left behind and dropped from Thunderbird 1 as planned. They just stand there chatting about how much danger they are in until jumping clear at the very last second. Silly buggers.
