Continuity mistake: Buddy poked the punching bag with Mel's face on it. Then later Mel comes in when the delivery service guy comes. Mel's face is aiming towards the wall. His face on the punching bag keeps appearing and disappearing every time we jump cut from the writers and the delivery guy.
Continuity mistake: When Richie asks Laura and Rob "Is dinner ready?" the door behind him is closed. Laura tells Richie "Yes, it's ready." We get back to Richie as he yells and the door is cracked open. Then when we see the wide shot of Richie, Laura and Rob the door is closed again.
A Bird in the Head Hurts - S2-E11
Revealing mistake: The problem with Rob's story is that he said he shot the bird with the rifle, but the rifle there that Rob is swinging around doesn't have a hole for bullets to come out of. It's a fake.
Revealing mistake: Millie (in Rob's dream) tells Jerry (Doc) that "Big Bad Brady is already dead" yet we see that Brady is up there trying to not move, laugh or breathe. He's still alive if his stomach is still going and moving the whole time. Also when he aims his pistol at Rob, he's aiming it at Rob's hat. Not at Rob's arm. Which is where Rob said he got "shot".
Factual error: In the Army or Military it is mandatory that the name tag is worn the same as the Dress Tan/Green/Blue and must be worn in either configuration. Ribbons are worn the same as the Dress Tan/Green/Blue. Special Skill Badges, Distinctive Unit Insignia (Unit Crest) are also worn the same. Rob and everyone else in the army was not wearing a name tag in any of the episodes.
Continuity mistake: The guy yelling about asking to see people that work in the office building in this episode gets told several times "no they aren't in". He sprints away from the desk with briefcase in hand, he's past Rob on the other side of the room. When they cut back to the lady you still see the guy's music transcripts and his brief case on the lady's desk still in his hand. (00:21:17)
Continuity mistake: Laura's parents aren't the same parents she had in "What's In a Middle Name" - different names & completely different actors.

Continuity mistake: In this episode and "Will You Two Be My Wife?" the captain's offices are completely different and the captains are also not the same.

Other mistake: Rob is in Captain Lebost's office. Rob has already said that Laura accepted his proposal weeks ago and they got married 2 weeks ago, and he asked for 1 3-day pass. Yet in "Will You Two Be My Wife?" he says he asks for 2 3-day passes so he could go get married.

Factual error: Buddy asked Sally "why haven't you had a birthday...?" Yet a few episodes ago (Season 1 Episode "Where you been, Fassbinder?") Sally had a birthday she cried and cried. Buddy and Pickles, Rob and Laura were all there.

Continuity mistake: The kitchen walls are completely different than the rest of the episodes. Also, there is no way to look into the living room from the kitchen at the sink. (They fixed that in episode 2 though).

(Episode 2 onward it looks the same except for the outside behind the sliding glass door but the background is also flat. The house(s) and trees are flat, there are also no birds out there making any noise).

Deliberate mistake: The movie director tells everyone "ACTION!" Yet Rob stands outside the door and doesn't come in, then he says "uh...action?" Then Rob pokes his head in and asks Leslie "Did you say something?" In "Somebody Has to Play Cleopatra" Rob is the director of the play. He says "Action!" and then Harry (Bob Crane) does not come in on cue several times. Rob also calls Leslie "Liz". (00:15:35 - 00:16:20)

Revealing mistake: Laura and Millie are inside the "house" and Rob is outside the "house" the door and windows are all closed... Yet we can still hear Rob just as if he was in the house rather than outside.

Character mistake: Rob was digging outside the window supposedly with his hands. Yet he is 100% clean as a whistle. No dirt on anywhere to be seen.

Other mistake: Rob said he hit the plumbing (with a shovel) yet if you hit the plumbing (accidentally poke into a plumbing tube) usually water would shoot all over the place (which never happens in this episode).
Other mistake: Buddy's dog is also the same dog for everyone else. They are all German Shepherds. Except for Millie and Jerry's dog we have never seen him/her ever. Yet they say that they have a dog too.
Continuity mistake: When Rob is trying to draw the horse and accidentally draws on the wall, the drawing changes depending on the shot.
The Ghost of A. Chantz - S4-E3
Continuity mistake: When Rob and Buddy are talking after arriving at the cabin and discussing the lack of wood that should be there for 3 years, a white birch like log on the very top of the pile inside the fireplace. The camera cuts to Buddy saying something about the ghost burning it, and when the camera cuts back to Rob the white birch like log is missing from the fireplace. Then when we see Rob making the pull out bed the log reappears back on top of the wood pile in the fireplace.
Other mistake: Any time Rob has to go to a doctor or to Jerry to get his teeth worked on, if you look at the window behind him and whoever is working on him. It's the same buildings every time. Even though he goes to different doctors. Also, that window and the curtains are also the same exact windows and curtains in Robs office.
