It May Look Like a Walnut! - S2-E20
Character mistake: Rob is having a nightmare, part of which involves the disappearance of his thumbs. When he finds Laura at home, the script calls for him to say, "I want you to help me get my thumbs back," but he actually says, "I want you to help me get my thumb backs." His thumbs are also still there but hidden (you can see a portion of them in one frame of the episode).
Don't Trip Over That Mountain - S2-E22
Character mistake: Laura tells Millie that the phone rang 6 times. The phone actually rang 7 times.
A Nice, Friendly Game of Cards - S3-E18
Character mistake: While Rob, Laura, Buddy, Jerry and Millie are telling Sally what happened before and during the poker game Laura says "We should have played charades!" Yet she didn't actually say that... Rob said it. Jerry insisted they play poker anyways.
Dear Mrs. Petrie, Your Husband is in Jail - S3-E28
Character mistake: Rob is telling Laura why he's in jail. He says "Monica Doorwell! She must be Millie and Jerry's babysitter." The babysitter's last name is "Darwell". (00:02:00 - 00:04:00)
Character mistake: Rob tells the people that are about to get on the elevator "my wife is expecting a baby!" In all the other episodes where "she's expecting a baby" as well... No change in stomach size at all! Not a single sign of pregnancy... (After 12-16 weeks it starts to show that the baby is there.) Even before Richie was born, still flat as a pancake.
Character mistake: Rob is reading the news or his lines and instead of saying "the stay awake record of 100 hours" he says "stay away record of 100 hours."
A Farewell to Writing - S4-E33
Character mistake: Rob was digging outside the window supposedly with his hands. Yet he is 100% clean as a whistle. No dirt on anywhere to be seen.
Character mistake: When Sally asks if Rob would give his party guests malaria, Rob responds later on with, "Oh, Roe, I would never suspect you!" Roe was Rosemarie's nickname on set.
I Do Not Choose to Run - S5-E16
Character mistake: Rob tells his council men that "Richie loves helping his mom in the kitchen" yet every time she's in the kitchen cooking or doing anything of the sort. Richie is nowhere to be seen. The only times Richie is near the counter is when he's hiding under the counter, or drying his hands like the rest of the family.
Character mistake: Rob is telling Laura about how Buddy and Sally work he says "Sally is the only one who can type with all her fingers." Yet Rob can type with all his fingers and doesn't say anything about that.
Suggested correction: Of course he does. He is punch drunk from the lack of sleep. That's the point.
On hour 24 Rob couldn't even say the rhyme at all, he also sounded slightly drunk, also his lower eye lids got dark. I have been up for 48 hours before and my eye lids never turned that color also I didn't act slightly drunk like that either. So it's not actually true to life here.

1) You can't assume your personal experiences is typical of everyone's. 2) I doubt your experience was very funny. In a comedy, stupidity overrides "true to life."
More like dumbness overrides "true to life." I'm pretty sure that falling down the stairs is funny to some people (which is what I did).
