Corrected entry: Sonic reverts back to normal form before falling through the atmosphere. So why didn't he burn up in re-entry?
Corrected entry: Throughout the show, Dr. Robotnik is called "Dr. Eggman", even by himself and his robots. Dr. Eggman is the nickname the Sonic Team uses to mockingly refer to Dr. Robotnik. Dr. Robotnik hates to be called Eggman.
Correction: Robotnik never once said that he hates being called Eggman. In fact, he's even used that name himself.
Continuity mistake: Right when Amy picks up the broken bracelet and starts to cry, she has no shoes on but she did beforehand.
Sonic the Hedgehog: I don't see why we have to learn all this etiquette baloney.
Christopher 'Chris' Thorndyke: My mom says it's important to learn good manners so we can eat properly.
Sonic the Hedgehog: Well, I never learned anything about manners, and I been eating my whole life.

Question: Why was Eggman controlling the moon in order to con people into buying the sunshine balls he invented? Was he doing it to get rich?
Answer: No, he doesn't need the money. He was doing it to try to paint himself as the hero. Make it look like only he could save the the light and painting Sonic as a villain for destroying it.
So what if Eggman doesn't need the money. There are tons of people who don't need more, but still try to get richer.

Correction: It's Sonic. He can run faster than the speed of sound on foot. That would rip the flesh off normal people or animals. His body is very durable, similar to Superman or other superheroes. Reentry wouldn't hurt him severely.
