Continuity mistake: In the scene when Joxer is saying the "enemy of my enemy", when the view is on Joxer he has nothing in his hands, but when it is an over the shoulder shot you can see he is holding a horse shoe.
The Debt (2) - S3-E7
Other mistake: At the end when it shows that Xena did kill the "green dragon", you can see his eyes move when the camera pans around his face to show the hair clip in his temple.
The Debt (2) - S3-E7
Continuity mistake: When Xena is thrown into the water dungeon, she talks to a man who was there when Loa ma was killed. In the flashback you see him in the background watching as Loa ma is proceeded in and he has short hair. Later in the episode, Xena is having the same thing happen. The same people are in the background including the man who is supposed to be in the dungeon with the shorter haircut.
The Quill Is Mightier - S3-E10
Continuity mistake: When Gabby is beating up the barbarians, the end of her staff is in the ground. There are two close up shots of her staff. The first has her staff in a hole, surrounded by dirt. The second shot shows her staff with no hole, and surrounded by straw, not dirt. (00:04:35)
The Quill Is Mightier - S3-E10
Continuity mistake: When Joxer lays down the scrolls on the table, they are rolled up with each side touching each other. A moment later, when there is a close up of the scroll, they are slightly unrolled, with the quill placed between them. There was no quill there a moment before. (00:23:35)
Audio problem: Xena says to Gabrielle about Solan, "Some tracker, huh?" This sentence is said in her native Kiwi accent, not the 'American' accent of her character. (00:00:50)
Revealing mistake: When Kaleipus is dying, his eyepatch is not on his eye properly, and you can see his real eye under the eyepatch several times, although the character is supposed to only have one eye. (00:18:40)
Continuity mistake: When Solan is crying to Xena that he wants to come live with her, there is one shot on him where all his tears and tear tracks have disappeared. They appear again in all the subsequent shots. (00:22:20)
Continuity mistake: Watch Gabrielle's arms when she points her staff at the little girl when she sneaks into the hut. When the shot is from the front, her back arm is up and over the staff. When seen from behind, her arm is much lower, and under the staff.
Revealing mistake: When Xena drags Gabrielle with the whip behind her horse, you can see in some shots it is a dummy - as the arms are in a static position. In other shots, Gabrielle is a man, as shown by how much larger she suddenly gets. (00:02:00)
Continuity mistake: When Xena gets a pot of boiling liquid and drags it across the floor, it's half empty. When Gabrielle empties it over the bad guys, it's now full to the top.
Continuity mistake: In the casino scene Xena is wearing a ruby necklace. Right after Xena kisses Rafe she is looking up and you can see part of her shoulder and you don't see the chain, then from another angle you see the necklace.
Continuity mistake: When Gabrielle is standing in the stadium at the end, they show a close up of the ring on her hand, then switch to a quick wide shot of her. Her hands are in different positions in the two shots.
Continuity mistake: When Joxer and Gabby are in the woods and he's trying to explain who he is and give her back her memories, the shots from behind Gabby are much windier than the shots in front of her. Her bangs are blowing around quite a bit from the back, and hardly move in the shots from the front.
Other mistake: Ares says to Xena, "Are mortals so stupid as to believe that Dehok will actually bring them peace? They all get what they deserve. I really don't know why you continue to protect them." The Way this is phrased, "continue to protect them," seems to imply that Xena might not be mortal, yet in "Sacrifice II" he says, "You're the only mortal I know who can do that," which means that she is. Why was he implying earlier that she wasn't?
Revealing mistake: When Hope and Gabrielle are talking, and Gabby says she's sorry the poison didn't kill Hope, look when the camera is on Hope and behind Gabby. Since Renee O'Conner plays both parts, a double is used from the back. The double is really bad. Her build is way too small and un-muscular to be Gabby.
