Question: What is Bobby's full name? There is one episode where Peggy says that she and Hank gave him a dumb middle name.
Answer: In S03E18, "Love Hurts and So Does Art", where Bobby gets gout, they take him to the doctor's to see what's wrong with his toe. When Peggy is filling out the HMO forms, she says, "You know, Bobby, we gave you a dumb middle name."
Question: Is Irritable Male Syndrome (the condition that Hank has in one episode) real?
Question: Did Peggy always live in Montana when she was younger? There's one Valentine's episode where a flashback shows her and Hank in high school.
Answer: This has been somewhat of a topic of discussion amongst fans of the show. Along with the difference with her mother in a couple of shows, its never really been set when she left Montana and by what age as its changed at times. What seems to be at least certain is she was born and for a certain period lived in Montana.
Question: Is there an episode where Dale Gribble discovers that his son, Joseph, is really the biological son of John Redcorn?
Question: Trying to remember the episode where Peggy damn near kills herself competing with Minh over who donates the most blood.
Answer: "The Buck Stops Here", s05e02.
Question: Does Joseph know or at least suspect who his biological father really is?
Question: Does anyone know why the seventh season hasn't come out on DVD yet?
Answer: While no official response from Fox as for its long delay, many have speculated the reason is due to the mixed success the series has had on DVD. The second season is generally used as the example, as the DVD set didn't contain any special features whatsoever. Generally a sign the studio is not confident of the DVD's success.
Answer: All seasons have since been released on DVD.
Question: Are there any plans to do a "King of the Hill" movie?
Answer: There are no current plans to make a movie, however, with the success of the "The Simpsons Movie" that could change.
Answer: As of 2023, new episodes of the show are planned.
Question: Is there any meaning behind the name of the street that the Hills live on, Rainey Street?
Answer: It's a real street in Austin, Texas, and was apparently where Johnny Hardwick (one of the show's writers and the voice of Dale Gribble) used to live.
Question: Why does everyone always call John Redcorn by his full name?
Answer: I don't think this has been explained in any episode. At some point, he most likely asked people to use his full name. Perhaps he wants to highlight the "Redcorn" at all times, out of pride for his family history.
Answer: John is a common enough name that they might know several other Johns that we've never met, so they're being specific.
Question: Two questions about Nancy and John Redcorn's affair. First, has it ever been explained why Nancy had an affair for so long and didn't leave Dale? Her relationship with John seemed to be more than just fun. Also, have the show's creators ever said why they didn't do an episode where Dale finds out about the affair?
Answer: In one episode, Nancy says that she loves Dale "in a 'lights-on' sort of way." She feels some type of love and affection for him. It could be a case of her wanting to "have it all." Dale, who doesn't make a lot of money and has low self-confidence, will help care for Joseph and the home, giving Nancy more time to have a passionate affair with John Redcorn.
Answer: Nancy's and John's relationship was based solely on a physical one. they both seem to agree that THAT was the way things were and nothing more could come from it. The reason why there was never an episode of Dale finding out is cause it was one of the shows running gags.
Question: Has there ever been any clear indication that Luanne does or doesn't know about Nancy and John Redcorn's affair?
Answer: Yes! In Peggy's Headache when Hank told Luanne her aunt had her headaches cured by John Redcorn and she gasp and he told her to stop that and put her face back the way it was before someone sees it. She knew then. All the adults knew.
Question: Did they ever say what Cotton did for a living?
Answer: He installed asbestos in schools. It's not said what he did after that, but he complained about all his work being undone.
Answer: Bobby's full name is Robert Jeffrey Hill. I cannot recall the episode however on whether it was a joke to give him a dumb middle name.
Lummie ★
This might be a continuity mistake now. In "Bobby Slam" (Season 2, Episode 10), Peggy says that she wanted Bobby's first name to be Jeffrey, but "some man" wouldn't "let" her name him that. Also, Boomhauer's first name is revealed to be Jeffrey, and he is highly respected by his friends and neighbors. Doesn't sound like a name that Peggy really thinks is "dumb."
