Continuity mistake: When Chuni gives Peter, Gwen's chart, there is a narrow strip of paper over the other sheets. But when he goes into the girl's room, that strip of paper disappears.
Continuity mistake: When Alice opens the back of her van and Carol sees all the dogs, a large spotted dog starts to come towards them - but when the shot changes to from inside the van, that dog is no longer there.
Continuity mistake: When Alice is siting in her hospital bed, she has Sparky the dog under one arm and scruffy little brown dog under the other. When the shot changes, the latter has moved over, and she is stroking a black and tan dog. The next shot returns to the first scenario.
Continuity mistake: When Kerry and Doug get to the peds unit he starts listening to the kids heart/lungs with a stethoscope. The camera cuts to Kerry and then back to Doug and he is just taking the stethoscope from around his neck. The camera cuts to Kerry and then back to Doug and its around his neck again. The camera cuts to Kerry.Doug's listening with the stethoscope again.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Leonelli is being loaded into the ambulance, someone throws a large bottle of dark liquid that lands on the right side of the back window - however, when the shot changes, the liquid is running down the left side of the window.
Audio problem: When Peter walks into the washing room Elizabeth says "hello Peter" but her lips do not move.
Continuity mistake: Yoshi and Mark are in the room with ballroom-dancing patient. Yoshi is writing on the chart - when the shot changes the paper on the chart is tented up, with no time for it to change position. When the shot changes again, he has the chart down on the instrument tray, again with no time for the change.
Revealing mistake: As Dr. Benton is leaving the nursery, there are two people who are supposed to be walking down the hall. But, it is very obvious that they are waiting on their mark, waiting for the go ahead before they start walking. (00:38:40)
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the show, Lucy and Roxanne are in the restaurant, and as Roxanne says "so much for that theory", we can see Lucy is holding up her book/magazine in the corner of the screen, but in the next shot it is lying flat on the table.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the show, when Mark and Elizabeth are playing racquetball outside, an extra wearing a top with red sleeves walks behind Mark and disappears to the left. Just then, as Mark says "Romano, he keeps stalling", we see the same extra behind Mark again, heading to the left.
Continuity mistake: While Carol is talking to Bruce's mother her hands on the railing change multiple times from hands together to arms on each other.
Answer: A man named Paul Sobriki comes into the ER in the season 6 episode 13 " All in the Family." He is complaining of headaches, Carter and Lucy decide to rule out meningitis and do a lumber puncture. Paul struggles during the procedure and believes that both doctors are stabbing him. Lucy, who is interested in Psych thinks something is wrong with their patient mentally, but Carter is dismissive of her. She gets cross with his attitude and she calls the psych department anyway to have a look at him. Later on and near the closing 20 minutes or so of the episode, all the staff start playing loud music and get a cake which appears to be blue lol, together to party as it's Valentines Day, Carter returns from somewhere and asks where Lucy is. He goes to check one of the rooms for her and Paul Sobriki comes up behind him in the dark and stabs him twice in the lower back, he collapses and as he falls unconscious he sees Lucy on the ground also. In the next episode, Be Still My Heart (ep 14), Dr Weaver discovers them and all of the staff work to try and save them, whilst Carter survives. Lucy's wounds are fatal and suffers a pulmonary embolism as Corday and Romano try to save her. Carter is grief stricken and feels guilty about the way he treated her, he becomes addicted to painkillers and Benton, Greene all help him and book him into rehab.
