Factual error: Featured characters in the show always seem to be wearing brand new winter clothing - their jackets, hats, gloves, etc. always look pristine, sparkling clean, and just-purchased. Anyone who lives in a winter climate knows that winter clothes age very quickly - the pristine look last about an hour. Extras in the show, probably providing their own clothes, wear much more lived-in normal outdoor clothing.

Visible crew/equipment: When the son of the accident victims is being led through the trauma rooms to see his parents' bodies, you can see Laura Innes crouching under a table in the background directing the scene. Innes was the director of this episode and it was established that this episode took place on her character's day off. Therefore, she should not have appeared in front of the camera at all. Trivia: Doug Ross frequently hung his head low, appearing ashamed or thoughtful or privately amused, depending on the scene. This wasn't just an element of the character: George Clooney had taken to writing his lines on papers, sheets, and other props.
Question: Does anybody know what the episode was called where that helicopter severed Romano's arm? I'm pretty sure it was season 8.
