Plot hole: When Lizzie and Gordo are sitting at lunch, Gordo says that he doesn't like broccoli (referring to the pile on his plate) and that he tries to avoid it. However it is established in many scenes that Lizzie's school has a self serve cafeteria, so why does he have broccoli? (00:56:45)
Continuity mistake: When Lizzie attempts to confess to Kate in the hallway she is wearing a red and white shirt with no bag. However in one shot from behind, you can see that there is a blue bag strap over her left shoulder. This is the same blue bag she can be seen wearing in later scenes. (01:01:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After the McGuires dig back up Lizzie the lizard; as they walk across the garden (with Mrs. McGuire telling Matt that he should open the box) if you look from the point where they began to walk from, you can see a white tape marker on the ground. (01:02:55)
Continuity mistake: When Lizzie's mom is explaining that the lizard is still alive, the birdhouse disappears.

Continuity mistake: When Mrs. McGuire checks Matt's temperature she takes the thermometer out of his mouth and leaves the room on the phone. But in the next shot we see Matt, only now he has the thermometer and is using a flashlight in order to heat it up. (00:29:45)

Continuity mistake: Miranda wears an outfit for Picture Day accompanied with two little fluffy hair-balls in the left side of her hair. However when Miranda spots Kate wearing the same outfit as her, you can tell the shot is flipped because the hair-balls have swapped sides. (00:33:05)

Continuity mistake: When Matt is faking being ill to get out of school, Mrs. McGuire discovers he is not really ill. At one point through the day she suggests to Matt that they spin some yarn and she picks up a basket full of it. Yet in the next shot the position of the balls of yarn in the basket has completely changed. (00:38:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Kate is teasing Lizzie in the cafeteria as they wait for Mr. Pettus, reflector screens can be seen in Kate's sunglasses. (01:34:25)
Continuity mistake: When Mrs. McGuire pulls out the huge netted bag full of toilet rolls that she has packed for the camping trip, Lizzie puts her right hand over the right side of her face in embarrasment. But in the next shot she has both her hands over her mouth. (01:37:25)
Revealing mistake: When the school bus is shown cruising around the corner on the way to the camping area, you can see that as it turns the corner is is virtually empty. (01:38:50)

Continuity mistake: During the scene in the kitchen when Lizzie is talking about the pool party and discovers it's her grandmothers birthday, throughout the whole scene, her necklace continually disappears and reappears between shots. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: When Kate is walking down the hallway towards Miranda and Lizzie, her bag strap lies perfectly diagonal against her chest. Yet in the next shot it hangs more vertically, at her side, then back to diagonally. (00:09:50)

Audio problem: When Lizzie goes into the living room while her Mum is on the phone, she takes the remote control from Matt. We can then hear Matt shouting tales at Mrs. McGuire, but if you watch him his mouth isn't moving at all. (00:12:10)

Continuity mistake: When Mrs. McGuire is on the phone talking about lying, Lizzie begins to argue that if she can lie, why can't she. In one shot Mrs. McGuire puts the phone down to her shoulder to cover the earpiece but in the next shot (from behind) she has the phone back up to her ear again. (00:12:55)
Suggested correction: When Lizzie goes into the living room while her Mom is on the phone, she takes the TV remote away from Matt. We can then hear him shouting at Mrs. Mcguire until Lizzie tries to take her hand and place it over his mouth.
