Curb Your Enthusiasm

The Pants Tent - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: At the beginning of the episode, when Cheryl answers the phone on Larry's behalf, there is a shot of Larry walking around the living room and taking a bite out of an apple. If you look in the window behind Larry you can see the boom pole moving around. (00:02:32)

The Pants Tent - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: When Cheryl invites her friend to go to the cinema with Larry and passes him the phone you can see a brief reflection of the boom microphone in the window behind Larry. Just before Larry says hello. (00:02:52)

The Bracelet - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: This mistake really applies to two episodes in season 1. In The Bracelet, Larry is approached by a homeless man who thanks him for the Chicken L'Orange. As a result of this (and his unkempt appearance), the women at the jewelry store will not buzz him into the store. The mistake is that Larry doesn't give this man the Chicken L'Orange until the 7th episode, AAMCO. And it is not just that the episodes aired out of order. Because in the episodes between these two, there are references that show that this IS the correct order of this season. So this becomes a circular reference that can't possibly exist.

Larry: We're going to put sweet potatoes on the menu... because you can't find sweet potatoes anywhere else, have you noticed that.
Cheryl: Oh, everyone's noticed that.

AAMCO - S1-E7

Trivia: During the dinner party, the AAMCO mechanic (played by Michael G. Hagerty) asks Larry if he had anything to do with the show Friends. He also mentions that is was a "good show". Hagerty actually starred in several episodes of Friends as the building superintendent, Mr. Treeger.

The Smoking Jacket - S5-E6

Question: When Larry David goes to the Playboy mansion, everyone screams and runs away from him. Was there something I missed, like an inside joke or comment from an earlier show, to explain why? Or was something revealed later? Or is it just another case of strangers reacting oddly around Larry?
