Just as he says "in public relations", a man pops in the foreground - it is an extra that walks out of the rail car. Continuity mistake: Episode 1-0, "The Murder of Sherlock Holmes"; Mr. Giles opens the door of the antechamber of his office, finally putting an end to Jessica's long wait. Grady right away at the first click of the lock takes his hands off his pockets and tidies up his sleeves. But in the next shot when Grady actually enters and talks to the secretary, Grady is still with his hands on his pockets repeating the gesture. (00:10:10)
Continuity mistake: When Ron Moody runs into the sea in pursuit of a suspect trying to escape, he shouts at Jessica to "Get the package!" In the next shot we see Jessica reluctantly follow him in, with a clear waterline from a previous take showing on her dark overcoat/cloak.

Continuity mistake: Carl arrives at the funeral in his RV and then heads to the house. When he arrives, it's a noticeably different model. The door's moved, the front right window is now segmented, and rails have appeared on the roof.
Continuity mistake: When Jessica limps into Milton's car, she holds onto the door. A shot later, her hand is away, and it's Milton's hand instead holding onto the door.
Continuity mistake: When Jessica (a stunt double) is knocked down, her left arm is under her body with her bag in front. An instant cut later (now Angela Lansbury), her arm and bag are behind her back.

Continuity mistake: Before Joan leaves the restaurant, she has a glass of wine on her right, but from Jessica's POV, the glass has moved to Joan's left side. Also, Jessica's glass is in front of her, but moves to the right side of the table after Joan leaves.
Continuity mistake: When Bud and Andy arrive at Cagliostro's table, Jessica stares with her glasses on, while Joan turns her head around. An instant cut later, Jessica's glasses are off and Joan is turning her head again.
Continuity mistake: When Jessica is having dinner with Joan, Jessica's right arm is either extended on the table next to the cutlery or not, depending on the shot.
