Battlestar Galactica

Show generally

Revealing mistake: After Dualla shoots herself, Gaeta hobbles back into the room. While the effects people made sure his real lower leg was erased from view behind his upper leg, they forgot to remove the shadow of the lower leg being cast upon the steel floor. The shot then changes away and returns to find the shadow has now been fixed the second time we see it.

Sacrifice - S2-E16

Revealing mistake: When Billy lies dead in the morgue and the President fixes his hair while saying, "That's better." we can see Billy's throat move as he swallows.

The Eye of Jupiter - S3-E11

Revealing mistake: When you see Chief Tyrol leaving the camp on the Algea planet, one of the shots where he wanders around before finding the temple of the five, you can see part of the suburbs of Kamloops in BC with cars driving on the road. (00:08:27)

Daybreak: Part 2 - S4-E20

Revealing mistake: Just after Tigh announces that Centurions will be "pouring in at platoon strength", the next shot shows those Centurions marching though the Galactica's halls. None of them are casting shadows despite the various nearby light sources that should be causing such shadows. This is most obvious looking at their feet.

Litmus - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: When Chief Tyrol finds Jammer, Socinus and Cally at the still, they are standing in that order with Socinus behind and between the other two. The shot cuts to the chief dumping out the booze. Then it cuts back to the trio. Now their positions have changed. Now Socinus is on the left, Jammer on the right with Cally behind and between the guys. (00:08:20)

Trivia: Edward James Olmos (Commander Adama) plays a man involved in a search for dangerous androids who are nearly impossible to distinguish from humans. He played a man in a very similar situation in Blade Runner as Gaff. Amusing coincidence.

Chosen answer: Her motives are never explained. One possibility would be curiosity, a simple experiment in human infant physiology. Another, perhaps more likely one from her subsequent look of apparent distress is that it was, in an odd way, an act of mercy, giving an innocent baby a swift death, rather than leaving it to die in the nuclear fire or of radiation poisoning afterwards.
