And Something Makes Three - S1-E12

Other mistake: While Gladys Kravitz is standing in front of her house, which is across the street from the front of the Stephens' house, Gladys sees the Stephens' backyard just as Sam zaps a swimming pool and then zaps it away, but since the Stevens' backyard is located behind the house where the living room and dining room are, this would be impossible even for nosy Gladys Kravitz.

Witches and Warlocks are My Favorite Things - S3-E3

Other mistake: The exterior scene when Clara parachutes in is not the real outside we see throughout the show with neighbors including the Kravitz across the street and fewer trees...and no pine forest. Also, it's obvious Marion Lorne, who was about 80 at the time, was sitting on a swing like apparatus being lowered... understandably.

My Friend Ben - S3-E13

Other mistake: When Samantha and Clara "pop" into town searching for Ben, they appear on the sidewalk a few feet in front of others, who don't react to their sudden, magical, appearance.

No More Mr. Nice Guy - S3-E28

Other mistake: In the opening scene, Endora disappears then reappears for Tabitha. If you watch closely, just before she reappears you can see the shadow of Agnes Morehead/Endora on the wall behind the couch quickly coming back to the couch for the camera cut to recapture her.

Birdies, Bogies, and Baxter - S4-E7

Other mistake: In the scene at the end where Baxter is saying "You learn something about how you take defeat, I never thought I would be learning something about myself" the background behind Baxter doesn't match the background when the shot is a wide shot showing the out door course, trees and buildings. Instead it looks like a painted backdrop perhaps filmed separately for the closeup. It's definitely not where Baxter is standing in wide shot.

Humbug Not to Be Spoken Here - S4-E16

Other mistake: In the previous episode, I've Got Your Nanny Right Here, Samantha tells Darrin "nobody travels by broom stick anymore. It's obsolete." She takes Mr. Mortimore to North Pole by broomstick.

Samantha's Wedding Present - S5-E1

Other mistake: When Darrin is first shrunk we see that his clothes are unaffected by Endora's spell (they don't shrink). So, when he was popped back to normal heights, his clothes shouldn't be affected, and he would burst out of them. We already know his suit changed colors.

Instant Courtesy - S5-E13

Other mistake: Samantha is reading a 4-line note from Endora. The paper is semi-transparent and in a shot from the front, we can easily see the writing through the paper. However, after the note is "twitched" into a second, shorter note, there's another shot from the front - and the lettering looks exactly the same as it did before. (00:16:40)

Suggested correction: This is trivia at best, but the episode isn't really a remake of an earlier episode. Here Samantha teaches Uncle Arthur (Lynde) to drive and in season 1 Harold (Lynde) taught Samantha to drive. But the same actor playing multiple roles in a series is never a mistake.

Sam's Psychic Pslip - S7-E25

Other mistake: When Larry is in the living room asking where Darrin is, before Darrin is zapped back, the kitchen door is opened and closing. Nobody is in the home or in the kitchen. The door shouldn't be opening. Likely, a crew member was exiting the living room and the editors did not catch the door swinging.

George Washington Zapped Here (2) - S8-E22

Other mistake: This episode is merely a redo of the Ben Franklin episode in Season 3. The plot is the same. The dialogue in many parts is EXACTLY the same. The courtroom dialogue is the same as the courtroom episode of Ben Franklin. In both episodes, Samantha acts as the attorney even though a lay person is prohibited by law of practicing law... pretending to be an attorney.

Suggested correction: This isn't a mistake. At best this is trivia. "Bewitched" had several episodes that were remakes or similar storylines of previous episodes and they're not the only show to do so.

Santa Comes to Visit and Stays and Stays - S6-E14

Plot hole: Mrs. Kravitz, while standing in the Stephenses' front doorway, sees Santa Claus and assumes that it's Darrin in costume. However, the very next shot shows Santa exiting the kitchen (around the corner from the front door) and starting up the hallway toward the living room. There is no possible way Mrs. Kravitz could have seen him when she said she did. (00:09:30)

Samantha: Darling, I've been trying for weeks to give this house a thorough cleaning. These carpets are filthy.
Darrin Stephens: How can you worry about dirt on the rugs when we're about to see the surface of the moon?
Samantha: The moon could use a vacuuming too. All that dust... yych.

Answer: Larry had been telling Darrin what it means psychologically that Samantha gave the coat away. Larry said giving it away meant she's happy being married but if she liked the coat it means she desires to be single and carefree. So when Darrin sees the coat, he immediately thinks Samantha doesn't want to be married and the fact that she twitched it means (in his mind) she wants to be a single, carefree witch again.

Bishop73

Answer: I haven't seen the episode, but generally in the show, Darrin was always suspicious that Samantha always used some kind of witchcraft for any situation (even if she didn't). He probably figured the same thing with the coat while in her possession.

You should watch the episodes in question before giving an answer so you know what you're talking about.
