Plot hole: Despite the Russian Government not being aware that the submarine is quarantined in a US port, a Russian Navy Sovremenny-class destroyer is visible in the background. (00:14:29)
Revealing mistake: When the three are seen running to Apophis' ship (after taking out the Jaffas), the branches of the trees are shown to move because of the great speed they ran at. However, none of the leaves on the ground move.
Continuity mistake: When Teal'c walks into the Goa'uld force shield on the planet, he is forced off and he almost does a backflip. You can see that he would have hit the floor head/neck first. But when the shot changes, you see him land on the floor sliding on his back, as though someone had just pushing him over.
Plot hole: The team go through the gate to disable a drone with the intention of being able to close the active Stargate, but once they go through in a submarine, the gate closes behind them, rendering the mission pointless. (00:24:18)
Suggested correction: This entry seems to have been made without watching the episode or you skipped a part. When the 3 enter the Stargate via the submarine, the Gate does NOT close behind them. It stays open, which we not only see but is how they can communicate with O'Neill. Then Dr. Markov says once they bring the drone in (to the submarine), they can shut the drone off and the Gate will close. Which is what they do (off-screen) and when they do, the Gate closes.
Other mistake: In a Russian facility in the kitchen no-smoking sign instead of "не курить" reads "не курять", which is gibberish. (00:26:07)
Other mistake: When first discussing the alien ship, the computer screen states "terraforming progress" long before they suspect and later discover the ship to be terraforming the planet. (00:00:04)
Revealing mistake: When Teal'c and O'Neill are passing by Jupiter (after the failed missile burn), you can see a reflection in the background window of the cockpit. But the reflection is not the backside of their helmets, but instead is the front sides matted on to give the minor illusion of a reflection. (00:19:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jack and Teal'c are first shown in the fighter when it first enters space, if you pay attention to the stars in the background, they tend to move in a rather jerking fashion.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where SG-1 tries to get their note through the gate, watch Daniel. The camera cuts to him just before Jack slides down the zip line, and you can see small dots on Daniel's face - presumably the marks left when shot by the security system. However, Daniel has been taking cover since the alarms sounded and only gets hit when he tries to get to the gate after Jack is brought down. The next time Daniel appears on camera, his face is clear again and stays that way till the point in the scene where he, too, is killed by the security system.
Continuity mistake: Carter and Cadet Haley enter the Stargate and we see them through the "puddle." When they come out on The Other Side, their positions are reversed.
Other mistake: Just after the scientists on an alien moon follow The Light into the forest there is a car behind them.
