Continuity mistake: This mistake is in the intro with Mario and Luigi in real life. When Mario breaks the ceiling while Bowser is holding a yellow bar, Mario's gloves disappear from his hands when he jumps to break the ceiling. When he lands, his gloves reappear back on his hands. (00:00:26)
Revealing mistake: When the Mario and Luigi in real life appear from the left side of the screen, the green or blue screen is not formatted properly, causing them to appear out of nowhere. (00:00:43)
Continuity mistake: When Mario moves a curtain in the animated intro, there is no cavity in the shower, but in the next shot, one appears. (00:03:35)
Continuity mistake: When first showing the Mushroom Land during the animated intro, there is no path present, but in the next shot, one appears. (00:03:47)
Other mistake: On the "Mario's Greatest Movie Moments" DVD of this series, from the main menu, go into the trivia game. The fifth question asks you about the Super Mario Bros. Super Show episode 'Count Koopula.' It asks you "What's room number that the Mario Bros. were put into in Koopula's Castle?" It's supposed to say "What's THE room number that the Mario Bros. were put into in Koopula's Castle?"
Revealing mistake: In many episodes, when the outside of Mario and Luigi's business is shown, the edge of the backdrop can be seen.
Other mistake: In many of the live-action segments, the Alarmtron logo on the alarm in the Mario Bros' residence has been partially covered to read "Acarmtron" instead. In addition, in several episodes, the phone number for Alarmtron is also partially covered.
Continuity mistake: When the magic carpet moves upward after Mario becomes Super Mario, Luigi's visor goes from green to skin colour and back to green.
Answer: "Club Mario" was reruns of the original show repackaged with new live action segments. It was a cheap way to present the old animated episodes as a new show. Club Mario was incredibly unpopular and eventually reruns of the original show with the Captain Lou Albano segments were aired in its place.
