Continuity mistake: When Tim is watching Tool Time, Jill comes over and turns off the TV. At one point the remote suddenly appears on the couch, the next shot the remote has moved.

Revealing mistake: Just before the dish explodes out of the dishwasher through the wall the cut out that was made to allow that to happen is visible.

Off Sides - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Randy takes the phone from Mark, as he starts to turn away he lifts the phone to his ear. The angle changes and he is now holding the phone in front of him as he walks over to the magician's box and jumps up on it.

Satellite On A Hot Tim's Roof - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: When Jill is talking to Ron Dol and is asking Tim to call Al and help with the Satellite Dish Tim is tightening gloves on both hands. Then goes back to Jill, then in the next shot it shows Tim grabbing a cinnamon roll with one of the gloves in the other hand.

Other mistake: In this episode, Jill drove the Chevy Nomad with the oil light on. This caused Tim to rebuild the motor. In the shot with Tim in the garage, working on the motor, a Ford motor is shown.

Visible crew/equipment: When Tim says "ten pins down, all fall down, I won, I won" at the end when he thinks he has beat Jill at bowling, look just to the right of the chandelier above Pete (person standing to the right of Jill) to see a boom mic briefly drop into view.

Question: Virtualy all of the tools that Tim and Al show on Tool Time are the Binford 6100 but obviously different tools each time,was there a joke regarding the number 6100?

Answer: In seasons 1 and 2, each Binford tool had a unique model number, but from season 3 onward, they were all numbered 6100 as a running gag.
