Continuity mistake: When the robot at the start is dying, the doctor opens a panel to see his "heart beat." After a couple of other shots we see the panel again and this time it's closed without anyone touching it. It's also important not to confuse the doctor closing the robots eyes with this panel. Continuity mistake: When they find Bender on the ground after being hit by the were-car Fry asks if any of them have any liquor you see all of them reaching out a bottle of liquor. Continuity mistake: At the end, the Were-car skids sideways and flips into the furnace. From the outside, it lands upside down in the furnace. A second later, it's right side up.
Continuity mistake: When Leela says she wants to enroll in to the army Kif is standing right next to Brannigan. When it cuts Kif is gone. (00:02:20)
Continuity mistake: Bender's ID-tag pinned on his chest changes position several times during the episode. In some shots it's even gone. (00:09:50 - 00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: When Leela tells Bender to stop destroying the earth she has her arms crossed. When it cuts they're down. (00:20:40)
Continuity mistake: When Bender is brought into the surgery tent and Zap is holding Nixon, the level of the fluid in Nixon's jar changes between angles. In the wider shots it covers his whole head, in the closer ones the top of his head is above the fluid.
Continuity mistake: When Bender enters the officer's bar, he has two medals on his chest. In the last shot of him they have both disappeared.
Continuity mistake: After destroying the toy spaceship Bender place the hammer on the ground in front of him. When it cuts the hammer has changed position. (00:00:55)
Continuity mistake: When the pizza box says it's only been 23 minutes the face on it smiles with its mouth closed. When it cuts to Fry talking the face is smiling with its mouth open. (00:06:50)
Answer: Yes Leela knew from early on that Fry had feelings for her. They were pretending to be a couple in 'A Flight to Remember' from season 1 and Fry tried to get on dates with Leela ever since. She just didn't show signs of the feelings maybe being mutual before some of the later episodes.
