Character mistake: Before Pip, Butters, and Dougie play Wicker-shams and Decklers, Pip explains that they all fall down after he yells "Ch'rah." However, when they boys are playing, they all fall down after Pip yells "Tally-Ho."
Cartman Gets an Anal Probe - S1-E2
Visible crew/equipment: When Chef is singing: "I'm gonna make love to you, woman!" A crew member's hand can be seen moving the character's head. This was later fixed in the DVD version, but it was not fixed in the original version.
A Very Crappy Christmas - S4-E17
Continuity mistake: Cartman is already on stage, but in a next shot he arrives and Stan and Kyle ask him what he's you doing there. (00:16:58)
With Apologies to Jesse Jackson - S11-E1
Factual error: In the bonus round, the automatic letters R, S, T, L, E came up and Randy chose "B, N, G, O" as his 4 letters to add. In the real Wheel of Fortune game, the automatic letters that come up are R, S, T, N, L, E. "N" is always included automatically so it would never be picked by the contestant. This was obviously done for the plot of the episode.
Continuity mistake: While Kyle is asleep in his bedroom the Triangle of Zinthar is on the dresser beside the framed photo, but in the next shot when the cut ceiling falls onto the floor the Triangle has vanished, then it reappears on the dresser where it is supposed to be. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: In the exterior shot of the Marsh house, before the family dinner scene, the door knob is at the right side of the door, but in the following shots that door knob is at the opposite side of the door. (00:10:00 - 00:11:50)
Continuity mistake: When Randy and Stan leave the dinner table Sharon tells them about her friend Abby, and there's a table beside the front door with two drawers, but when Randy opens the front door the table now has legs and the drawers are gone, then it reverts back. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: When Randy breaks into the trailer that has access to internet, the locked front door has a large "Red Cross Only" sign attached to the exterior side of the door, but when the guards unlock that door the large sign vanishes between shots. (00:18:20)
Continuity mistake: When the Broflovski doorbell rings Gerald opens the front door and there's only a door knob on the exterior side of the door, but when Randy steps inside the house a backplate has suddenly appeared behind the door knob. (00:02:10)
Continuity mistake: When the Marsh family show up at the Broflovskis in a panic, the front door's exterior door knob is at the left side of the door, but when both families decide to go to Starbucks the front door of the house opens the opposite way. (00:02:55)
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where the FBI show up to the North American Marlon Brando Look Alikes meeting by mistake. However, during a close up of the leader's (the geneticist's) face, you can see the bottom of the banner actually says "Man Boy Love", as in the other NAMBLA. (00:16:20)
Continuity mistake: When Stan Kyle and Kenny are playing a board game, Kenny has one hand on his face and one on the floor. Camera cuts and now he has both hands on his face. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: When they shoot the monkeys dead, the one on the viewer's left head tilts down with his chin to his right. In the immediate next shot, his chin is to his left.
ManBearPig - S10-E6
Continuity mistake: In the first scene when Mr Mackey is introducing Al Gore to the school for his talk on ManBearPig, shots in the background show him standing in the audience while he is giving the introduction.
Fat Butt and Pancake Head - S7-E5
Revealing mistake: At the start, when Kyle gives his presentation, there are 3 duplicates of Milly in the audience: Next to Stan, on the far right next to Clyde and between Timmy and Jimmy in the middle right.
Continuity mistake: When Michael Jackson returns to Purgatory, keep an eye on Patrick Swayze. He is shown sitting on the left hand side of the front row. His clothes change from the black shirt and pants he wore in Dirty Dancing to a black fleece with a grey shirt and lighter grey pants. This clothing change occurs multiple times throughout the scene. (00:21:05)
Other mistake: In "Broadway Bro Down," when Shelly and Larry are playing Settlers of Catan, Shelly tells him, "And I got a victory point for the most roads connecting settlements." In the game, there's a two victory point bonus for the longest road, but no points for getting the most roads. (00:14:10)
Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina - S9-E1
Continuity mistake: In the scene where we first see Kyle as a tall black kid, when Kyle's dad says " Come on Kyle we have to get going" And Kyle says "Alright dad", when kyle runs to his dad, we see his basketball jersey change from an orange 4 jersey to a blue "all state 4 Colorado" jersey. (00:14:20)
Continuity mistake: During the rehearsal of the play, Kenny's Indian feather is blue. When the tepee crushes him, his feather is now yellow.
Answer: Essentially Stan was trying to return the blender that his dad, Randy, had bought because he knew his parents couldn't afford the extra debt. The blender, which represented mortgage-backed securities, had been bought on payment plan, meaning Randy had to make monthly payments, with interest, on something that wasn't essential. The episode represented the recession that was occurring at the time, including the housing bubble and mortgage crisis going on, so there's a lot going on. However, the payment plan (which is to say the debt) had been sold to another company by the store that sold Randy the blender. (To explain why, because of the recession, the store needed cash on hand, and they would only be getting a little money each month, if Randy paid his bill. So the store sells the debt to a company who gives the store the money upfront. Think of the J.G. Wentworth commercials, "I have a structured settlement, but I need cash now".) Because the store sold the debt, in ridiculous fashion, Stan had to return the blender to the company that bought the debt, although they too sold the debt to another company. Finally he gets to the U.S. treasury who tells him his blender is worth $90 trillion (again a ridiculous exaggeration) meaning that the debt owed is greater than the product is worth and to deride the way government agencies set up their budgets (which requires much more complex economic lessons). Kyle's whole point was people shouldn't fear the economy or see it as a vengeful being, but continue to spend and live as they normally do. Economically speaking, not spending money during a recession creates a longer lasting recession, and to solve a recession, people should spend money, although people and businesses shouldn't acquire debt during a recession because interest rates are higher. But on a personal level, individuals are fearful of losing their jobs during a recession, so they save money in case that should happen. But again, this is complex economics lesson.
