And I'm Joyce Kinney - S9-E9

Continuity mistake: After Joyce reveals the secret on the news it soon cuts to Joyce sitting in front of the mirror at Quahog 5, and in the mirror's reflection we see the door behind Joyce opens at the real Lois' right side (blocking the lightswitch), but in the next shot facing Lois the door opens the opposite way (not blocking the lightswitch). Super Grover

Foreign Affairs - S9-E17

Continuity mistake: At the start, while Peter and the kids are watching TV, the buttons on Peter's shirt are on his left side, but in Peter's closeup the buttons switch to his right side, where they usually are. The switching happens again in following shots.

Super Grover

Foreign Affairs - S9-E17

Continuity mistake: While Lois is in the Paris hotel suite packing her suitcase there are two doors behind her, and Bonnie opens one of those doors. The other door has its door knob on the left side of the door, but when Lois walks over and opens that other door to reveal Joe, its door knob is now at the right side of the door. (00:18:00)

Super Grover

Brothers & Sisters - S9-E15

Continuity mistake: When Mayor West and Carol are walking on the beach, the buttons on West's suit switch to the opposite side, and this occurs again in later scenes. When Carol and West get engaged, the buttons on Lois' blouse switch sides as well. When Carol's ex-husband, Randall, gives Peter the bag of fish, Randall's buttons also switch from the left to right between shots. (00:06:30)

Super Grover

Brothers & Sisters - S9-E15

Continuity mistake: When Carol's taxi stops in front of the house Lois rushes out to welcome her sister, and in the first shot the semaphore flag is attached to the curbside mailbox with its "L" shape facing the ground, but in the next shot as Quagmire shows up, the flag is now attached to the mailbox the opposite way. Super Grover

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Other mistake: As Joe is driving up to the house, just before coming to a complete stop, you can see that his window is completely closed. After stopping, Peter says "Joe?" Joe says "Peter?" Joe's window is now fully open. Trouble is, Joe seems to be completely surprised by Peter standing there which implies he never saw Peter even after stopping. His window has mysteriously opened immediately. (00:04:05)

New Kidney in Town - S9-E8

Continuity mistake: When Peter returns home from being hyped up on Red Bull, he has numerous cans in his arms. When he sees Stewie he immediately drops the cans on the floor but when the camera pulls back as he sits down with Stewie in his lap, the cans of Red Bull are nowhere to be seen.

Tiegs for Two - S9-E14

Continuity mistake: When Mr Washee Washee discovers Peter in his bedroom, Peter's glasses are missing when he says the line, "it seems we're at an impasse", but instantly reappear at the start of the next line, "how do you propose we settle this?"

Tiegs for Two - S9-E14

Continuity mistake: As Peter pulls up outside the laundrette, there are parked cars visible on the other side of the road. In the next shot, as Peter is exiting his car, the cars have disappeared.

When You Wish Upon a Weinstein - S3-E22

Peter Griffin: You better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child then you know what that makes you? A paedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and be lectured by a pervert.

Grumpy Old Man - S10-E9

Trivia: One of the cutaway gags is about someone who survived 9/11 because he was late for work watching late night football. Seth MacFarlane missed his flight, which would have been one of the flights to crash into the World Trade Center, because his agent had given him the incorrect departure time. The plane was scheduled to depart at 7:45 AM and his agent had told him it was departing at 8:15 AM. By the time Seth arrived the boarding had been closed and he was told he would have to catch a later flight.

Brian Sings & Swings - S4-E19

Question: In this episode Meg pretends to be a lesbian, when she calls herself a 'mega lesbian' it shows four other 'mega lesbians' singing something on deep voices. What song are they singing? Is it a real song?

strikeand

Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
