My Case Study - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: At the end, when J.D. has found out he is going to Reno, he turns to gloat to the other residents, and Dr. Cox. Snoop Dog Resident appears both in the group of interns opposite Dr. Cox, as well as directly behind Dr. Cox.

My First Step - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: When J.D. and Eliot go bungee jumping, they go past a large pipe, or something on the way down but, when they bounce back up, it's gone.

My First Step - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: During the scene where the class is being warned about the dangers of being a "wait and see" type of doctor, JD imagines himself as being the only person in the auditorium. In the first shot of him alone, there is a bookbag (or something similar) sitting on a seat about three seats to JD's left. In the next shot of him, it is gone, and in the third and final shot of him alone, it is back again.

My Fruit Cups - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When Jordan gets to Dr. Cox's place and explains how she got pregnant she says "Oh, the bus boy, the pool boy or something boy." Dr. Cox place both his hands on his face. When it cuts he's only got his left hand on his face.

My Way Home - S5-E7

Character mistake: Early in the episode, Keith pages JD from home to the hospital. When JD arrives, he asks Keith what's the big emergency and Keith asks if he wants the patient to be prescribed unfractionated or low molecular weight heparin. JD gets angry and says that they're the exact same thing. This is in fact completely incorrect. Low molecular weight heparin is made from fragments of unfractionated heparin. They have different effects in their metabolism, half life and dose monitoring (unfractionated needs a blood test, low molecular weight doesn't). The choice between unfractionated and LMWH is an important clinical decision and should not be dismissed as "the exact same thing".

Season 1 generally

Question: In one episode (I think it's My Balancing Act) Dr Kelso is trying to scare the interns, so he pulls his face off and 'becomes' a guy with crazy ginger hair and a very annoying loud voice. I'm a Brit so that's maybe why I don't recognise this guy. Is he supposed to be someone famous?

Answer: This is an American comedian called Scott Thompson, more widely known by his stage name of "Carrot Top".
