The Boys in the Bar - S1-E16

Continuity mistake: When Sam tells everyone it's closing time, he asks Harry how he got into the bar whilst he is playing snooker. He replies and then places a white snooker ball two inches behind a blue ball. There is also a yellow ball about three inches to the right of the blue ball. In the next shot, the yellow ball has suddenly moved a foot away from the blue ball. The yellow ball returns to its original position three inches away from the blue ball in the next shot. No Contest - S1-E18

Revealing mistake: The photographs and news items relating to the Boston Barmaid Contest have been clumsily pasted onto a real newspaper. The paper upon which they were printed is cleaner and whiter than the off-white newsprint and the photographs have much greater contrast.

Affairs of the Heart - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: After Diane's 'Romance is in the air' Sam comes closer to her and stands right behind her. Then there is a cut and suddenly Sam is standing to her right, shoulder to shoulder - it's a different angle, but the distance is too great. (00:03:30)

Old Flames - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Norm is talking and he says "we caught a little movie this afternoon," he starts to take a drink from his beer, the shot cuts to behind him and he is still drinking. Then the shot changes - his mug is sitting in front of him, and he starts to take a drink. (00:00:40)

Snow Job - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: When Coach walks out from behind the bar near the start, he's got feathers almost up to his knees. Then when he turns around to walk back, they're now only over his feet. (00:03:55)

Jon Sandys

Woody: How can Darth Vader be Luke Skywalker's father? They don't even have the same last name.

One for the Road (1) - S11-E26

Question: Is it true they wanted to get Glenn Close to make a cameo as Vera Peterson in the last episode? I swear I saw photos in an entertainment mag of her filming a scene for the final episode, with the joke being Norm's long-insulted wife was actually very beautiful and classy.
