Continuity mistake: In the episode "23" when Lorraine, Karen and Will are talking in the entrance to the church, before Stan's funeral, there is a signing book with a pen laying on it. But in one shot the pen has jumped back into the pen holder. It's back to laying on the book in the following shots.

Continuity mistake: When Leo comes into Grace's design workplace, he starts to put pieces of cloth on his shoulder. Between shots, before Grace takes the pieces of cloth off of him, they change position on his shoulder completely.

Humongous Growth - S5-E4

Continuity mistake: When Will and Grace fight over the birthday cake which Larry holds, it results in the cake being dropped. Note the position of the cake after it is dropped to the floor. In a later shot during their conversation, it has changed.

Leo Unwrapped - S5-E21

Continuity mistake: When Grace and Leo accidentally meet each other in their apartment, ruining Will's surprise, they have a cuddle, then Leo walks over to the fridge. Between shots the back of his collar changes from folded down to folded up.

Continuity mistake: In the episode "24" when Rosario brings the huge popcorn can in, which has Stan's ashes in it for them to scatter, she puts it down in front of the table, at about the center of it. In following shots the location of the can has changed, moving more to the left / right, etc.

Question: This is a question without a knowable answer. But I wonder if anyone has thoughts as to why we hear nothing of Elliot's mother? Jack and Elliot are estranged. Elliot's mother, Bonnie (originally played by Rosie O'Donnell), acknowledged to Jack that she is a lesbian in the original run of the series. So, when Elliot marries a conservative woman, moves to Texas, and makes plans to send his gay son to a gay conversion camp, where is Bonnie in all of this?
