The One With The Rumor - S8-E9

Continuity mistake: The gang confronts Ross over his affair with a fifty-year old librarian when he was younger. If you watch the mirror behind him (in one of the girls' rooms), it changes angles every time the camera cuts between Ross and the rest of the gang. (00:17:40)

The One With Monica's Boots - S8-E10

Continuity mistake: When Joey walks back into the apartment (with his eyes covered) to get the sandwich, he walks by the Fussball-table, and there's nothing on it. When he walks away you see a purse lying on the cooker. Then, when the shot changes to Dina and Rachel, you see the purse lying on the fussball table. (00:10:35)

The One With Ross' Step Forward - S8-E11

Continuity mistake: It's obviously December, with the set decorations and Rachel's reference to sitting on multiple Santas' laps because she is randy from her pregnancy hormones. The characters establish that it's Rachel's fourth month of pregnancy...but she became pregnant about six weeks before Monica and Chandler's May 15 wedding. Her fourth month would have been in July, not December.

The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12

Continuity mistake: When Ross arrives at the classroom late and out of breath, he tosses his jacket at the hook, but it falls to the floor, and he walks behind the desk anyway. In the next wideshot of the class, as Ross still stands behind the desk, the coat is up on the hook. (Viewed on broadcast TV as a rerun, so there may be a missing shot that was removed for extra commercial time.). (00:07:05)

The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12

Continuity mistake: After Chandler has been playing the Ms Pacman machine all day he claims his hand has seized up and it appears to look like a claw. From then on in that scene, his hand manages to move around fine. It goes in his pocket, and he waves it around like normal, and then when he mentions his hand again at the end of the scene, it appears to have seized and is clawlike again. (00:10:30)

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
