The One Where Underdog Gets Away - S1-E9

Revealing mistake: Whenever Monica's apartment is shot from the point of view of the balcony looking in, fake walls have to be put up across the room to cover the open space (since there is no wall there usually). When the friends are looking out the window at Ugly Naked Guy and his girlfriend in this episode, you can see that the rear wall does not extend nearly far enough - there is a large black space behind Monica. Suggested correction: He switches the glass from right to left, so, unfortunately you're wrong.

The mistake is valid. While we do see him switching his glass between hands during the scene, when he says he's glad everyone's Thanksgiving sucked, he raises his glass in his right hand. In the next shot it's switched to his left and lowered a bit. Since this happens between shots (and he's not off camera), it means no time elapsed, so there's no time for him to switch hands again (in the submitted pictures, the bottom picture is the first shot and the top picture is the 2nd shot).

The One with the Monkey - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: Just before the opening credits, when Ross says, "That's 'pathet', which is Sanskrit for 'really cool way to live', " Marcel is sitting on Ross's left shoulder in the closeup, but in the next shot the monkey is suddenly sitting on his right shoulder, right before Ross walks off screen. The One with the Monkey - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: When Rachel says about her 6th date with Paulo, she is holding a decoration for the tree. In the next shot the decoration changes to a much larger object. Then, in the next shot, as she hands it to Monica, it has turned back to the original shape. (00:05:40)

The One with the Monkey - S1-E10

Visible crew/equipment: After Max tells Phoebe that he and David got the grant and are leaving for Minsk on January 1st, when Phoebe goes to see David, just as she knocks on the door a boom mic can be seen moving at the top of the screen, before it cuts to David's closeup. (00:12:15)

The One with Mrs. Bing - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: While everyone's at the restaurant Rachel dips a tortilla chip into guacamole and gets some on her hand. When Paolo takes a bite from the chip he also eats the guacamole off Rachel's hand while she's still holding the rest of the tortilla chip, but in the next closeup Rachel's hand is empty, then in the next shot the remaining tortilla chip reappears in Rachel's hand. Kathy: So, what did you do today?
Chandler: Well, I had an appointment to get my hair cut...
Kathy: Oh, it looks great!
Chandler: ...and then it got cancelled.

The One With The Dirty Girl - S4-E6

Question: When Joey asks why he can't give Kathy the pen, Chandler says, "Because she's not eleven. And it's not the seventh night of Chanukah." What is Chandler talking about when he says, "It's not the seventh night of Chanukah?"

Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.

Answer: Chanukah is a Jewish celebration that occurs around the same time as the Christian Christmas. The celebration lasts for eight days and it is customary to give a small gift on each of the eight days. There is no special gift required and the line about it being "the seventh night" of Chanukah is just Chandler's sarcasm.
