Continuity mistake: Ferro is arresting the two junkies. Strats searching the first one, and a man in a yellow-ish coat and a fedora walks behind them in the background. In close-up once Ferro asks "You call that dealing?" the same man walks the same path again. He will reappear again doing the same walk when Pinky says he swallowed the drugs at the end of the scene. Continuity mistake: If you look at the victim lying on the floor when Ferro just killed him, you can spot a rather noticeable hem of his nightrobe sticking out from under his leg. When later, Kojak gets on the crime scene, nobody has touched the corpse yet but the clothing has been tucked in. (00:06:10 - 00:13:40)

Continuity mistake: Inside Pinky's dump, Ferro lights him a cigarette. Pinky then takes the cigarette with his right mouth, the left in the reverse shot. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: Kojak takes the hint that Joanna Ferro is a little on the sad drunk side and says, "I guess I'd better split. I got a big day tomorrow." Hector Elizondo puts his glass down twice in two separate shots. (00:24:50)

Continuity mistake: When Ferro tosses the incriminating piece of jewelry to his wife, her hands change position in her lap depending on the shot, and her hair is also parted over her shoulders in a radically different way. (00:25:30)

Continuity mistake: When the sergeant tells Kojak that the wife of the victim took it "like a Spartan", the person behind him outside Kojak's office changes position between shots. (00:28:20)

Continuity mistake: Kojak is looking puzzled at the crime scene picture, using a magnifying lens. He lowers both hands when Ferro walks into the room, but he's holding them in the same position as before when the camera angle switches to a previously used one. (00:29:05)
