Revealing mistake: When Ultraman finally confronts the fake Ultraman (Zarab), one of the shots shows the two Ultramans rotating around, followed by a right-hand punch right to the fake's left neck. At the end of the shot, the suit actor can be seen wagging his right arm in mid-air, possibly hitting the neck too hard. What's even noticeable is that parts of the silver paint on the right glove fall off. (00:23:34)
Ultraman: A Special Effects Fantasy Series (1965)
1 revealing mistake in Mugen e no pasupôto
Starring: Masaya Nihei, Susumu Kurobe
Urutora sakusen dai ichi gô - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When the police officer is staring dumbfounded in close-up at the red sphere in the sky, the position of his colleague behind him changes at the cut. (00:07:55)
Narrator: Using his beta capsule, Hayata becomes Ultraman.
Trivia: The unused script of the final fight between Ultraman and Zetton was entirely different, as it shows Zetton ripping apart Ultraman's colour timer. In the end, Zoffy will save Ultraman and defeat Zetton. However, the writing team decided not to use it because it was deemed too violent, and it portrayed Ultraman, the main hero, being cut. This alternate ending can also be seen in the game Ultraman Fighting Evolution 3 during the Ultraman vs Zetton mission.
