Trivia: The song that plays over the end credits is "Ketamine" by Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum, of whom Michael C. Hall is the vocalist.

Trivia: One of the main reasons for this series being made was because fans generally had a very negative reception to how the original series ended. While this series as a whole was liked by fans compared to the later seasons of the original series and despite the efforts of the creators to give fans a more satisfying ending, the finale seemed to upset fans more than that of its predecessor. As of this writing, it even has a lower IMDB rating.
