Halloween II - S2-E1
Other mistake: After Jake checks the front door with the knife, Devon video calls him. Jake's video signal is displaying a low-angle shot, but at one point, the camera cuts to him holding the phone, and the way he's holding it doesn't match the angle we see in the video feed.
Hail, Mary! - S2-E3
Other mistake: When Trevor is punched and flies through the air, you should be able to see "Buff Chucky" in the room, but you can't.
Hail, Mary! - S2-E3
Other mistake: When Lexy is staring at her pill at the beginning of the episode while Chucky is interrogated, the low angle shot shows the pill bottle carries a "Made in Canada" marking. The show is set in the US, but filmed in Canada. It seems their props came from Canada as well. It makes no sense why a place in New Jersey would be using Canadian pill bottles.
Doll on Doll - S2-E5
Other mistake: When Chucky leans over and vomits at the start of the episode, you can hear a vomiting sound effect, but at the bottom of frame, Chucky's mouth dips into view a few times and you can see there's no vomit coming out.
Other mistake: When Kyle takes off her prosthetic ear and shows it to Nica, you can see the side of her real ear out of focus behind the glasses and prosthetic in the second shot.
Other mistake: When doll-Jennifer is hit by the truck, we see a close-up of a puddle of blood reaching Tiffany's feet, but the doll's body is a solid 10-or-so feet away and is in pieces. There's no way it'd make a puddle like that, that would reach Tiffany's so quickly.
Other mistake: When the cop puts his cup of coffee down and says "Jen, put it down!", the series of shots is very wonky. He suddenly gets much lower between cuts, gets into an unrealistic position for the stunt to have the vase smashed over his head. Finally, when he lands, there's a bunch of glass perfectly still on the floor, which was obviously already placed there, in addition to a few pieces that are dropped from above.
Other mistake: When Michelle is making a video about her nativity set-up, we get a split screen of her recording and the phone's POV, but the way Michelle is moving her phone doesn't match the movement in the phone POV in the slightest.
Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.
