Little Little Lies - S1-E5

Other mistake: When Nica reverts back to her normal self and collapses, when she says "Where am I?", her legs noticeably move a few inches. She's paralyzed, so this shouldn't happen. It happens at least one other time during the scene, albeit more subtly. (When Chucky is in control, he's able to move her legs almost like a flesh-puppet, but when she's in control, she can't.)

Continuity mistake: When Michelle and Nathan are fighting, right before Nathan grabs the wine bottle and walks off, he puts his hands up by his forehead. In the next shot, they're suddenly down by his shoulders.

Little Little Lies - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: When Nathan comes back in after throwing out Chucky, Michelle makes a motion as though she put down the wine bottle, then starts to turn back to Nathan. In the next shot, she puts down the bottle and starts to turn back to Nathan a second time.

Little Little Lies - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: After Lexy sees Nathan with the doll, Michelle's wine glass is empty. She picks up the bottle and pours a small splash into her glass. Then, the next time we see the glass, it has at least a half-cup of wine in it - far more than the little splash we just saw her pour.

Little Little Lies - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: When Lexy is beating up the Tommy doll, when she throws it on the floor and starts slamming it, Nathan's hands appear on his knees between cuts when it cuts to the high-angle shot. In-between those same two shots, Lexy and Chucky also rotate about 45 degrees towards Nathan.

Goin' to the Chapel - S2-E7

Trivia: SPOILERS: In season two, episode seven, when Father Bryce explodes and it is shown over and over from a multitude of angles, it is a direct homage to the 1978 film "The Fury." At the end of that film, a character explodes in a similar fashion, being shown over and over again from different angles. Series creator Don Mancini has discussed how much he enjoys "The Fury" in the past, and has thrown in some subtle references to it in the "Chucky" franchise.

Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.
