Continuity mistake: Discussing Tofu's finances, Akane leans on Nabiki's bed warning her about messing with the poor clueless man. In the overhead shots Akane's torso and arms are drawn much higher than her position should be, as if she were standing by the bed or be closer to it, while in the other views she's on her knees and just leaning forward. Continuity mistake: When Saotome narrates the technique he saw Shampoo perform on Akane, he is holding the tea cup in his hands; hand position and polka dot pattern vary between the two shots. (00:19:20)

Close to them by the entrance, a red book and a teal book are piled together in the overhead shot, but curiously enough, we see in 2 separate shots that follow first the red book only, then the teal book only, both in the same spot as earlier. Continuity mistake: Kodachi is standing in front of the window spinning her ribbon and creating a storm of black rose petals. Cut to Akane, and Kodachi jumps away off-screen. When Akane stands in front of the window, the mess in the room is much greater (which could be understandable) but the books on her desk have also changed color. (00:14:50)

Continuity mistake: In the wide shot opening the episode, the girl to the right of the 'mysterious' girl (turning out to be Kodachi) has a bandage on the right knee up to about half her thigh, but it's gone in the next shot. Notice also the girl in the middle not having any band-aid on her left cheek, while she does when Ranma walks in on them after getting ice cream. (00:01:50)

Continuity mistake: When Ranma breaks Shampoo's weapon intervening to defend Akane, the portion of handle left attached to the iron ball keeps changing in length between shots. (00:10:00)

Continuity mistake: Kodachi does her "Attack of the 1,000 clubs" engaging Ranma on the third rope. Ranma then disperses the clubs with the volleyball attack, but somehow Kodachi, who has not moved, is standing on the opposite side of the ring instead of by the ropes. (00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: During the walk towards Dr. Tofu's house bringing Kasumi's hot meal, the shadow of the fence on the asphalt appears only in the last shot, when it's undisturbed by (and inconsistent with) the taxi as it moves in the same road. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: After Kodachi has used her bladed hoop, Ranma gets the clavettes from Akane. In the close-up she uses them like nunchakus; too bad though that the chain she has at her wrist is gone. (00:06:20)
