Plot hole: In "The Conners" premier, Dan solely blames neighbor Marcy Bellinger for Roseanne's death after finding a bottle of opiates with Marcy's name on it. He only relents after Darlene shows him additional opiates that other people gave Roseanne and were hidden around the house. However, in the Season 10 reboot of "Roseanne", Dan had previously discovered and confronted Roseanne about her multiple opiate stashes, including one bottle with Marcy's name on it which he read aloud.
Continuity mistake: As Mark sits down next to Dan and reaches towards his backpack, in the very next shot he's pulling out a history book, even though he has not gotten anything out of the bag.
Character mistake: Dan mentions he's 66 years old. In a later scene, Darlene says to Dan, "You're 65 years old..."
Character mistake: Dan makes a reference to the movie "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" (the movie he's planning on the family to watch). He starts a sentence saying "by the time John Candy says 'those aren't pillows'." John Candy did not say that line in the movie - Steve Martin did.
Continuity mistake: When Dan and Louise are talking about graduation moments in the kitchen, Dan's iPhone keeps changing positions in his shirt pocket. In some shots, it's upside down, and in others, it's upright. (00:07:56 - 00:09:26)
Other mistake: When Bev boards the train, there is a yellow ramp from the platform to the car. It is never removed, but isn't there when the train begins to move.
