First Blood - S1-E1
Factual error: While at the lodge of the safari camp, they find lion tracks. However, there are distinct nail imprints in the tracks. Lions have retractable claws and do not leave nail prints when walking.
First Blood - S1-E1
Other mistake: When he and Chloe encounter a group of lions scouring for food, what tips Oz off that something is wrong is the unusual sight of more than two males together. The more obvious indicator is that they are all male; in lion prides under normal circumstances, the hunting and gathering of food is done by the females.
The Silence of the Cicadas - S1-E3
Factual error: The station at the Arctic would have storage batteries to retain a charge for when storms obscure the solar panels, yet, once the bats cover the panels, they lose electricity.
Suggested correction: The power drops out but later on in the episode they have backup power. The problem is that the bat that gets into the base then takes out the backup power.
This Is What It Sounds Like - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: The bear in the kitchen knocks over the fridge. When we cut back to the bear in the kitchen later, the fridge is standing back up again. (00:27:09)
Continuity mistake: Chloe had a glass of wine though it is not on table in front of her or in her hand. Next shot showing the same table area, there's a glass of wine on the table. (00:20:30)
Other mistake: Whenever the sequence with the bear attack occurs, they're talking about brown bear information and show a video. The video they show depicts a black bear at one point.
Murmuration - S1-E9
Plot hole: The team went to look for a leopard with a natural mutation which would imply a black panther or a leopard with a mutation. But then they find normal leopards who have already started killing people, and in the hospital it was clear that the leopards were already exposed to Reiden's Mother Cell, yet they persisted with the "cure".
Eats, Shoots and Leaves - S1-E11
Factual error: They travel to Zambia along the Luangwa to search for leopards and the locals speak Swahili. In that region of Zambia they speak Nyanja or Bemba. I lived in Northerm Zambia for a few years and all the way up to the Tanzania border it was not common for anyone to know Swahili.
Wild Things - S1-E12
Factual error: When they arrive at the hospital after Jackson is shot, they show alligators attacking people. Alligators are not native to Africa. Crocodiles would make much more sense, but I would assume either budget or behavioural differences prevented their use.
