Continuity mistake: On Jaden's first turn, there are five cards in his left hand. In the close-up shot, Elemental Hero Sparkman is the fifth card on the right-hand side. Jaden then picks up the third card from the middle, which is then revealed to be Sparkman, even though it was on the end of the row in the previous shot. (00:05:09)

Continuity mistake: When Aster draws the "bad card" from his deck, the card is at an upright angle. The next shot, when Jaden tells him he might want to work on that poker face, the card never changes position. When it cuts back to Aster, the card is suddenly held at a rotated angle. (00:11:14)

Continuity mistake: When Bonaparte introduces Reginald Van Howell III, Reginald's arms are at his side, but in the next shot, his right arm is suddenly raised. (00:03:52)

Revealing mistake: After Bonaparte has introduced Reginald, it cuts to Jaden, Syrus, Alexis and Crowler sitting in the seating area. On the third row are two Slifer Red students. The first is looking at his cards, while the second is looking at the first student's cards as well. Later on, when Reginald has Gilford the Legend attack Chazz, it cuts to Jaden saying "Here we go", and those two students are in the exact same position, looking at the cards. Clearly the same animation was reused on both occasions. (00:03:58 - 00:11:03)
A Hassleberry Hounding - S2-E3
Character mistake: At the start of the episode, Jaden says that he and Syrus have to carry 14 replacement duel disks across campus, which is later revealed to be because Hassleberry beat each of the 14 students in a duel and then stole their duel disk. But during the duel later on, Hassleberry says "I'm beating you the same way I beat my last 12 rivals", instead of the 14 students that were stated earlier. (00:00:09 - 00:15:35)
Continuity mistake: When Syrus hands Chazz the envelope, the way the envelope is held in Chazz's hand changes between shots. (00:07:56)
Continuity mistake: When Jaden throws the Power Bond card back to Syrus after he is promoted to Ra Yellow, in the shot of Jaden taking the card out of his pocket, the card is upside down. He then throws the card and it remains in the upside down position when it is thrown. When Syrus catches it, the card is right-side up. (00:18:58)
Continuity mistake: Zane finds a man lying on the ground in an alleyway with cards tossed around him. In the shot of Zane saying, "You all right", the cards on the ground change when it cuts to a closer shot of the man. (00:04:45)
Other mistake: When Zane activates Trap Jammer, the monster Elemental Hero Bubbleman can be seen on his duel disk, even though Cyber Dragon is the only monster on his field and Zane does not have Bubbleman in his deck. (00:09:57)
Other mistake: When Zane has Cyber End Dragon attack Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer, Aster activates a trap card that allows him to send 5 monsters to the graveyard. One of these monsters is Elemental Hero Clayman, but it's shaded orange, and since Clayman is not an effect monster, it should be shaded yellow. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: When Aster is being photographed and questioned by reporters after beating Zane, in the wide shot, there appears to be one or two reporters behind him. When it cuts to a closer shot of him, there are suddenly more reporters behind him. (00:00:01)

Continuity mistake: When Aster tosses the cards over the card thief, an Elemental Hero Wildheart card lands on his chest face up and another card lands on his chest face down. Seconds later, when Syrus and Bastion go to check on him, the Wildheart card is now on the ground and there are three face down cards on his chest. (00:06:31)

Other mistake: When Jaden has Elemental Hero Flame Wingman attack Aster's Elemental Hero Clayman, the Clayman card appears to be orange. However, monster cards are only orange when they have a special ability, and since Clayman doesn't have an ability, it should be yellow. (00:10:54)

Other mistake: After Jaden activates Miracle Fusion, he removes Elemental Heroes Flame Wingman and Sparkman from his graveyard (and removes them from play) so that he can summon Shining Flare Wingman. In the shot of the cards coming out of the duel disk, Sparkman is shaded orange. But since Sparkman is not an effect monster, it should be shaded yellow. (00:14:50)

Other mistake: Aster uses the effect of Magical Stone Excavation to send two cards to the graveyard to bring back one spell card. Polymerization is coming out of his graveyard, but a second later, it is now Misfortune that returned from the graveyard. (00:14:10)
Other mistake: When Syrus visits Jaden in the hospital wing, Chazz hands him Jaden's deck, telling him he can't see his cards. Decks are usually said to have 40 cards, but when Syrus spreads the deck of cards apart, there only appear to be about seven cards in his hand, and nowhere near the full deck of cards that was just handed to him. Other mistake: When Syrus looks at Jaden's cards, in the close-up shot, Elemental Hero Sparkman is shaded orange. Since Sparkman does not have any effects, it should be shaded yellow, not orange. (00:00:32)
Continuity mistake: When Syrus arrives in the duelling arena and sits next to Hassleberry and Bastion, two Slifer Red students can be seen sitting behind Chazz. A couple minutes later, after Atticus says he and Alexis are going to conquer the world, it cuts to Hassleberry saying "Man, bro bro's got some issues", and the two Slifer Red students behind Chazz have disappeared. Continuity mistake: At the end of Atticus' first turn, he extends his right hand so that he can lay a face-down card in his duel disk. When the shot cuts, his right hand is at his side. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: When Atticus draws the Ultimate Stage Costume from his deck, he says "Dress rehearsal's over, sissy" and extends his right arm. When the shot cuts, his right arm is suddenly lowered slightly. (00:14:40)
