Chapter 13 - S1-E13
Other mistake: When Lucas and Zoe are at the restaurant, Zoe steals the staff list from the kitchens. It is an established fact that a waitress named Stephanie works in the restaurant, however when the camera closes on the list, her name is not listed among the other staff members. (00:32:40)
Visible crew/equipment: The crane filming the last scene of the episode is visible in the back window of the SUV.
Continuity mistake: Frank's cigarette has burned down with about half an inch of ash. When Claire gets it, you can see the ash is gone. It was too quick for her to flick it.
Continuity mistake: When Frank orders Peter to take off his clothes and get into the bathtub, he starts to unbutton the shirt putting the hand on the stomach at the end of the shot, but in the next one he's still seen in the mirror's reflection with the hand on the collar side. (00:46:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Claire gets to the hospital to visit Steve Jones, as she comes in the room, the boom microphone is reflected on the door's glass as it's closed. (00:13:27)
Chapter 13 - S1-E13
Revealing mistake: Zoe's phone "rings." The phone can be seen flipping the image from horizontal to vertical, something that only happens with pictures, not calls. This, plus the static effect in the "slide to unlock" reveals that it is not a real call but a screenshot made for the scene. (00:19:39)
Continuity mistake: When Frank proceeds to interact with the spider caught in a drinking glass, a number of items have disappeared: a) Dark towel hanging on the refrigerator door. B) Power cord going behind the refrigerator. C) Bottle on right side of middle window. In addition, the two bottles on the floor near the refrigerator were moved a little and were switched (pay attention to the yellow collar ring). (00:48:00 - 00:49:00)
Continuity mistake: When Frank and Gene Clancy are at Oren Chase's house, Oren ends the conversation by taking a sip of his ice tea. When he first grabs the glass, he grabs it by the top. In the next shot, he's holding it by the middle. And in the following shot, he's holding it at the top again.
