Continuity mistake: The lighthouse keeper's pistol keeps changing distance from Sgt. Troy's head between shots.
Revealing mistake: As Sgt. Moffitt lays the unconscious General Lacaze on the bed, the unconscious General swings his left leg on to the bed.

Continuity mistake: When the German truck pulls up to the guardhouse it has a driver's side mirror that disappears and reappears in later scenes.
Continuity mistake: Bullet holes shot through the outside of the door to the radio room have a different pattern than the exit holes on the opposite (inside) side of the door.
Continuity mistake: When Hitch opens the tent flap to escape, there are 55-gallon drums outside covered by a camo net seen through the opening. The exterior shot outside the opening shows no 55-gallon drums or camo net.
Revealing mistake: When the Rat Patrol removes the protective muzzle covers for the jeep-mounted .50 caliber machine guns before a raid, the BFA's (Blank Firing Adaptors) the guns need to fire blank rounds are seen.
Continuity mistake: During the fight scene with the German captain, Sgt. Troy's hat is mashed flat, yet is in perfect condition and next to the head of the German captain's body in later scenes.
Continuity mistake: Sgt. Troy's hat is nowhere near the body of the dead German captain in close up, but the longshot of his body shows the hat next to the body's head.
