Continuity mistake: As Mario is walking up to his lawn chair on the beach, you get a clear look at the stripe pattern on the cloth. In the shot after Sonic sneaks onto the lawn chair, the pattern of the stripes has changed. And there is much more blue area between the bottom most stripe and the wood of the chair than previously.
