Other mistake: The ladder at the top of the Empire State Building gets loose because a bullet hits one of the screws. It's not very likely that the five other fixtures would snap just because one got shot away.

King Kong (2005)
Continuity mistake: When being chased by the witch (which turns out to be Santa Claus) across the plain, the shadows change direction between shots, and in the close-ups there is more than one shadow per person.

Mamma Mia! (2008)
Continuity mistake: During "The Winner Takes It All," you first see the cliff with the church and the sun very low on the horizon. Later during the scene, the sun is much further to the right and higher in the sky (the sun glare on the water is bright white). The scene was apparently filmed in the morning (and not in the evening) and we see a sunrise and not a sunset.

Mamma Mia! (2008)
Continuity mistake: When Donna is fixing the crack in the tiles, the tip of the filler-gun breaks off. She stands up, and a bit later waves the filler gun, with the tip back on. The pistol has been out of sight (her hands down) during the scene, but she didn't look down once, and we see that she is carrying a bowl in the other hand, so she would not have had a chance to put the tip back on again.

Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
Continuity mistake: When the stealth ship tries to escape the English and Chinese navies, they say it's going 48 knots. But when we see it 'speeding' away, you can see by its wake that it is cruising very slowly. Definitely nowhere near 48 knots.

Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
Continuity mistake: When the BMW drops off the roof and into the AVIS office, its trajectory is not consistent. It enters the AVIS office rather horizontally, but at that point in its trajectory it would have gone almost vertically.

The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
Audio problem: In the teaser we see the hitman load his gun when he gets ready to kill Scaramanga. When Scaramanga walks into the room, the hitman aims for him. The gun makes a loading sound. Upon the hitman's arrival to the room he racks a bullet into the chamber therefore no other action would be required to make the gun ready to fire. A loaded gun does not make a sound when you aim it - and why would he have unloaded the gun while waiting for his victim? When you load the gun, the hammer is back and the gun is ready to fire. No further actions are necessary. And a professional hitman does not wait to turn off the safety on his gun until his victim has arrived.

The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
Factual error: Q says the golden bullets are caliber 4.2mm. When we see them they are much larger - more like 9-10mm. 4.2mm is like a pellet from an air pistol.

Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Continuity mistake: When we first see Mrs Whistler's body being pulled out of the water, her front is towards the boat. In the next clip, her back is towards the boat.

Independence Day (1996)

Continuity mistake: While David is talking to his wife, he holds the Johnny Walker bottle in his hand, then it is suddenly on the window sill.

Casino Royale (2006)
Deliberate mistake: When Bond performs CPR on Vesper, he isn't really blowing into her mouth. You'd be able to see her chest lift when he blows air into her lungs - even if she was dead.

Octopussy (1983)
Continuity mistake: When 009 is knifed in the back, the knife goes in all the way to the handle. When he crawls out of the water, the blade is visible. And if the knife had moved out by itself, it would be loose and would have fallen out.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
Factual error: Before the battle of Kerak we see the city with snow capped mountains in the background. There are no mountains that high visible from Kerak.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
Continuity mistake: In the scenes before the battle at Kerak, the skies shift from totally clear to quite cloudy and back again in the various shots.

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Indy is telling about the Staff of Ra, the background color of the blackboard changes between shots. It looks like there are some chalk residues (after the blackboard has been washed) in one of the shots, but not in the other.

Dr. No (1962)
Continuity mistake: When the spider crawls up Bond's arm, and we see the spider in close-up, they are using a stand-in with much more muscular arms than Sean Connery. (00:42:00)

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)
Continuity mistake: In the boat chase, when the bad guys are using machine guns, in one shot we see Indy's boat in the middle of the canal. In the next shot (close-up) they are very close to a large pile of dirt (or wood chips) and in the next (wide) shot they are in the middle of the canal again.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the boat chase two bullets hit the windscreen of Indy's boat. In the next shot the location of the holes has changed.

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Factual error: When flying from Nepal to Egypt Indy passes over Arabia. The state of Jordan is shown, but in 1935 Jordan was called The Emirate of Transjordan.

Romancing the Stone (1984)
Audio problem: When Jack digs for the statue in the puddle, and he hits it, it makes a sound like iron against ceramics, but the bunny statue is wrapped in hay and cloth. The wrapping is so thick that the spade would not be able to touch the statue, so it would make no sound at all when he hit it with the spade.
