Continuity mistake: When Lincoln and Michael are talking on the little pier, Michael talks about Westmoreland and his relationship to the truth. Continuity mistake: When Steadman takes out his gun, he presses it to the back of Veronica's head. She does not flinch or shy away from the gun, but in the next shot, a close-up of Steadman, the gun muzzle is pointed at the camera with Veronica off-screen, and so the gun is suddenly not touching her. Continuity mistake: When Julie moves through the alley towards whom she thinks is her mother, in the first shot from her she is seen from behind as she walks to the wall on her left, and puts her hand out to it, almost as if to steady herself. The angle changes to a front view, and she is now standing next to a stack of crates, with her hand down by her side. The next time she is shown from behind, she is once again standing by a blank wall, with her hand outstretched to it, before she runs to her "mother".

American Ninja (1985)
Continuity mistake: During the first 20 minutes of the movie, Patricia is wearing a pearl necklace. When she is shown sitting in the car, it is a double string of pearls. After she has crashed the car and climbs out, it is a single string of pearls. When she and Joe are running through the jungle, it is once again a double string, and when she returns home it is a single string again. This can not be explained by the necklace being a long string of pearls that's draped twice around her neck, as the necklace is always shown to reach just below her throat, and a longer string would reach further down.
