Continuity mistake: Sheriff Dollard did not have time to get out of his car and climb the balcony that he ended up on. Also the area around his car is too clear. He skidded to a stop, which kicked up dust in this dry town. There is no dust visible in this shot of Sheriff Dollard. (01:30:55)

Continuity mistake: When Ned Campbell hits the Magnificent 7 slot for a win it had one the reels a single bar, then triple bar then double bar. They then show Rick Santoro and Kevin coming towards them. When we see a first person perspective shot from Kevin approaching them we see the reels all have double bar on them. (00:49:35)

Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Dollard is giving his speech about the drag queens, changes and such, his cruiser is parked right under the balcony. He tells the drag queens to "Come forward now". There is a long shot from behind the woman with the veil, Carol Ann, of Sheriff Dollard on the balcony but the cruiser is suddenly parked in front of next building. (01:31:45)

Continuity mistake: When the women are sitting around the kitchen table drinking wine, the bottle changes places. First Carol Ann pours Chi Chi a glass and places the bottle in the middle of the table next to the napkin holder. Later in a front shot of Vida and Carol Ann we see the napkin holder, but no wine bottle. Later, we see that the wine bottle has moved to the edge of the table behind the bottle of glue. (01:21:20)

Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Dollard is at the bar, Virgil walks in and sits down next to him. A drag queen's shoe is on the bar between the ear piecess of his sunglasses. When viewed from afar the shoe is pushed only half to 3/4 of the way to the lenses. When Virgil picks up the shoe, shoe is almost touching the lenses. (01:27:50)

Revealing mistake: When Vida, Noxema and Chi Chi decide on the convertible they pull forward a few feet. The catch their "reflection" in a mirror of some sort. When viewed with great scrutiny we see that in fact this is not a mirror reflecting their image but a camera shot of them that has been reversed. The special effects guy placed the lights around the clip to make it look like a mirror. When seen numerous times we can see the image shake a bit and that the image moves ever so slightly within the light bulb frame. (00:17:50)

Continuity mistake: Teleporting drag queen - The drag queens move to line up on stage then the camera pans down the line. Chi Chi is on of the last ones that the camera captures. A split second later in the next shot she/he is on the front of the stage opposite from where she was. She/he did not have enough time to cover that much distance. (00:06:20)

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Marvin is choking on his food Bob gives him the Heimlich maneuver. He then puts Dr. Marvin on the couch and jumps down on him. Dr. Marvin expels the food just before Bob knees him the third time. This is best viewed in slow-motion. We are lead to believe that the third knee drop caused the food to be dislodged when actually the food is spit out just a split second prior to Bob landing the knee drop. (00:53:20)

Continuity mistake: When Bob is in the coffee shop waiting on the call from Dr. Marvin he chases an older man away from the phone. The rope for the fish jar hanging around his neck is twisted around once or twice. The camera cuts away from him then back to him and then the rope is twisted around seven or eight times. (00:27:15)

Continuity mistake: When Bob and Dr. Marvin are interviewed by Good Morning America the book Bob is holding changes positions between shots. The changes of position are not possible from shot to shot. (01:07:30)

Factual error: Mel tells Bobbie that his car is a Coupe De Ville. We see later in the movie that the car has four doors. The Cadillac is actually a Sedan De Ville.

Continuity mistake: When Axel, Rosewood, and Taggart are getting shot at at the oil fields a machine gun tears up the "Property of The US Air Force" crate in front of them. A few seconds later from a distance we can see that the crate is in perfect condition without bullet holes. (01:30:05)

Continuity mistake: At the oil fields warehouse Axel opens a crate of grenades on the back of the truck. The lid from the crate shifts slightly from when he opens it to when he reaches in and takes out some grenades. (01:28:05)

Continuity mistake: When Axel, Rosewood, and Taggart are racing to get to the City Deposit, Rosewood and Taggart fight over whether the light is green or red. Rosewood drives through it and hits another car. The red police beacon falls off the roof and onto the hood. As the car spins the beacon is gone. In the next shot we can see the beacon back on top of the car above Taggart's head. (01:04:35)

Continuity mistake: After Axel shoots the screens in the gun club they show a shot of Karla and Russ talking about the shell casing. You can see the screens between and around them. There are no holes. Axel is also playing with the artificial laser sighted gun just as he was in the previous shots before he shot holes in the screens. Axel and Karla are later shown at the shooting range and the screens are perfectly intact. (00:36:30)

Continuity mistake: When Axel, Rosewood, and Taggart are racing to get to the Emperian Fields racetrack the red police beacon once again falls off of the car on a hard left turn. The next shot the beacon is back on top of the car. (01:20:10)

Continuity mistake: When Axel gets the bag of vitamins from Rosewood the bag is rolled/folded closed in one direction only. This is also seen after Axel wets his face with the water from the champagne bucket. After he wets his face he grips the back with the folded top of the back facing him. The next shot he is walking towards the receptionist with the bag facing her. The folded edge is now facing away from him. The single folded edge is best seen after he picks up the bag from the receptionist's desk. (00:31:30)

Continuity mistake: When Axel, Rosewood, and Taggart are racing to to get to the City Deposit, Rosewood takes a hard left turn. During this turn we can see that Axel is in the passenger seat and Taggart is in the back seat. The next shot Taggart is in the front seat on the police radio and Axel is in the back seat. This clip was taken from later in the movie when the guys are racing to the Emperian Fields race track and Axel is in the front seat with Taggart in the back seat. (01:03:20)

Continuity mistake: When Axel pulls into the warehouse to meet up with Vinnie he barely gets the Ferrari into the dock doorway and it is crooked when he parks it. After he gets out of the car the car is pulled in further into the doorway and parked straight. (01:14:35)

Continuity mistake: After being put on leave, Bogomil leaves the office and is driving towards the camera. His car is being followed, then passed by, the Mercedes Benz driven by Karla Fry. The license plate on the front of Bogomil's car is 2CTE919. When he pulls over to help Karla the license plate on the front of his car has changed to 2CTE673. (00:13:20)
