Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Audio problem: When the black lady informs Reverend Jackson about Peejoe her lips do not match what she is saying. This is most obvious when we hear the word "remember". (01:03:10)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Visible crew/equipment: When Lucille arrives in Hollywood, Norman opens the car door. You can see the reflection of the camera man, the filming crew and someone holding a boom microphone in the car door. (00:51:50)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: After Peejoe gets hit by the rock he begins to fall backwards. In the closer up shot his legs are staggered with his right leg underneath him and his left leg out front. When the camera moves to a wider shot his legs are side by side. A third shot shows his left leg straight out in front of him as he falls. He had also fallen half the way down on the closer up shot before they moved to the wide shot. In the wide shot he was back to being more upright and falling. (00:42:40)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: When the sheriff has Lucille at the jail she tells him about the horrible things her boyfriend did to her. During the conversation she is rubbing up and down on a bar. When the camera is facing Lucille the bar is round and the same size as the bars in the shot. When the camera is facing the sheriff it is a different bar, a smaller square shaped bar. (00:35:55)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Other mistake: When Peejoe is playing with his string you can see three spots of stuff in the shot. The camera lens must have been dirty because the spots stay in the same place in the frame until the split screen comes in with Lucille. (00:34:05)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Factual error: When Lucille wins $32,400 at the casino she is paid in 16 packs of $20 bills. This equals $32,000. The $400 is missing from the money the cage cashier slid to her. The $400 should/would have been loose money, but all the money she received was strapped. (00:41:40)

Real Genius (1985)

Other mistake: When Mitch calls his mom asking to come home Kent and his friends hear him make the call. Mitch then has some conversation with his mother. Kent and his friends begin recording the conversation at the point where Mitch says "I want to come live with you". The problem is that when the recording gets played back in the cafeteria the conversation is replayed from the beginning which was before Kent had begun recording it. (00:45:50)

Suggested correction: Kent starts recording when Mitch asks "Mom, are you there?" which is where the recording in the cafeteria starts.

Real Genius (1985)

Continuity mistake: When Jordan brings in the automatic page turner she demonstrates it to Mitch. When it reaches over to turn the page the screen jumps and then the scene continues. This was two takes of the same shot spliced together poorly at the point that the page turner touches to the page on the right. (00:27:50)

Real Genius (1985)

Continuity mistake: When Chris puts the nitrogen coin into the coffee machine his hand drops down before he selects his coffee. His hand then change position quickly then he reaches up to select his coffee. This is obviously two different takes spliced together poorly to create this shot. (00:26:10)

The Right Stuff (1983)

Continuity mistake: When Gordon is in the bathroom stall preparing to produce a sperm sample the camera pans down to the bottom of the stall. We can see the legs of the people in two of the stalls, Gordon and one other candidate. After Gordon says "Ok Glenn, I know that's you", the scene jumps a little. The belt of the astronaut to the left moves where the shots were joined. This was obviously two different shots that were spliced together at this point.

The Right Stuff (1983)

Continuity mistake: When the astronauts are putting on their space suits, Glenn gives a speech about morality. While Shepard rebuts Glenn's speech the space suit on the left of the clothes rack changes position throughout the sequence. It is at time at the right side of the section of the rack, turned toward the camera, turned away from the camera, moved close to the middle of the section of the rack. There is also an empty hanger that appears later in the shot when it was not there beforehand. (01:33:00)

The Right Stuff (1983)

Other mistake: When the astronauts are in front of the space craft and have reached terms with the scientists, Carpenter whistles then waves the press in. One of the pressmen says "Look, Glenn's waving us in!", he should have said Carpenter. The astronauts were all very high profile persons in the press and would be easily identifiable and the press members were top notch professionals so it is not considered a character mistake. Taxi (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Washburn is trying to get the Daewoo out of the parking spot, there is a leopard print pad on the seat belt strap, and at times the strap moves because he is bumping the cars in front of and behind him. However, when Belle gets out of the passenger side and tells him to move over the position of the leopard print pad changes from on his shoulder in the wide shot, to behind his shoulder during close up, to back on his shoulder in their wide shot.

Wall Street (1987)

Factual error: After Bud's conversation with Gordon in the park he goes to a restaurant bathroom. The agents are waiting for him. He open his shirt, they rip the tape recorder off of him then immediately begin to play the conversation. It picks up right where the evidence is. No one had time to rewind the tape. (01:58:45)

Wall Street (1987)

Continuity mistake: After Bud asks Carl for money at the bar, a friend comes up and Carl shakes his hand. At this time Carl doesn't have glasses on. Bud then asks Carl "How's work been treatin' you." When he asks this the camera angle is over Carl's shoulder and he has glasses on. Then in a front shot, the glasses are in his hand, but there was not enough time for him to take them off. Continuity mistake: When Flynn and Crom are playing the Ring Game, Flynn's first throw knocks out the 3rd ring from Crom's playing surface. In the closeup shot of Crom they show the outermost ring disappearing when the ball actually hit the 3rd ring. (00:40:20)

Bedazzled (2000)

Other mistake: When Elliot the genius homosexual and Allison arrive at his apartment he hangs her wrap on the arm of the statue. He then begins to take off his overcoat and hangs it on the other arm. There is a cut to another angle and the coat is already hung on the arm and he is sliding out of it. There was not enough time for this transition to happen. (01:02:15)

Tron (1982)

Continuity mistake: Tron sends his memory disk to talk to Alan. After Tron communicates with his user Alan1, Alan sends him back the disk with new data on it to destroy the MCP. When Tron receives the disk it is like a Frisbee, solid on the top and hollow on the bottom. When he receives the disk the hollow part is on the bottom. He holds the disk in front of him and starts talking about "the key to the new order". The shot changes and the disk has been reversed, hollow side toward him and solid side away from him. He did not have time to rotate the disk. (01:08:10)
