Corrected entry: The gold storage in the Federal Reserve Bank is actually below the subway tunnels. So the bad guys wouldn't be able to steal the gold the way they do in the movie.

Correction: Yes we do see that the level of the gold storage is below the subway level. But the 'bad guys' came with a huge ramp to gain access from the ground level to the train platform level below. It is not beyond belief that they have another smaller ramps for other split level transfers. Obviously the operation was planned carefully and they came fully prepared. Just because we don't see how they transfer the gold from the storage to the trucks, it doesn't mean it is impossible.

Corrected entry: When John ambushes the two men in the truck in the tunnel, only three shots are heard, yet there are nine bullet holes in the door. (01:15:30)

Correction: On my DVD copy, I hear 9 shots which is followed by the sound of empty gun clip.

XIII

Corrected entry: When McClane is looking for the bomb in the subway, a woman screams because she thought he was looking up her dress. However, when the subway car is derailing, the same woman is watching the car derail.

Correction: The blond haired lady who screams in the train carriage is wearing a bright yellow jacket, yellow dress, is wearing glasses and has her hair pinned (no ribbon). There is no-one matching that description waiting on the platform. There is a blond lady but she has no jacket, no glasses and her hair is tied with a a blue ribbon. Similar dress, that's about it. Even with different costume, there is no way you could distinguish that its the same person (even with slow-mo or pause which is against the 'movie mistake' rules anyway).

XIII

Corrected entry: When McClane and Zeus jump into the water as the ship explodes, the underwater shots show two white men, not one white and one black.

Correction: That's quite a bit of a stretch to say both men are distinguishable to be 'white'. The scene is quite dark and contains flashes from the explosion. In fact for a moment or two, both men appear to be 'dark'. We'll have to put this down to color and contrast of the scene.

XIII

Corrected entry: As John and Zeus are running to the park for the second bomb they are talking about the incident from the first film, John says that he threw Simon's "little" brother out of a window, yet when John was talking to the FBI agents they did not mention whether Simon was older or younger then Hans.

barryween23

Correction: And who says that he is or is not. John was just making an assumption, probably based on his perception of the older brother being protective of the younger. The ages were not relevant, and we don't know anyway, so it can't be a mistake.

XIII

Correction: Actually we do hear the explosion. At the same moment McLean closes the truck door, we hear a muffled explosion which McLean reacts to as if the door made that noise.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bruce Willis kills the two bad guys in the truck in the aqueduct, he is walking towards the truck from behind left. When he shoots, he is still behind left of the truck. Then the camera changes and you see the blood spraying out of the bad guys torso. How could Bruce Willis be able to hit the torso of those guys if he was left behind the truck? It would have been okay if he had shot them from the front. That he was able to hit the guy sitting on the right side is really amazing.

Correction: We don't actually see McClane when he is shooting the "bad guys". He could have been standing perpendicular to the door, OR simply holding his gun with his arms extended out in front of him. So when he shoots throught the door he hits both of them. He then would have had to take a couple steps back to open the door.
