Corrected entry: At the top of the Astronomy tower when Dumbledore is talking to Harry about the Horcruxes, as Harry walks towards Dumbledore you can see two people, either crew or extras, walk behind the "wall" to the right of the shot.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Snape appears after Harry has used Sectum Sempra during his fight with Draco in the bathroom. Harry leaves the bathroom and there is an extra or a crew member standing against the wall.
Correction: That's a student (note the school robe) waiting at the doorway/wall who can be seen twice, first when Snape walks in and when Harry walks out.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Harry and Ron talk in the bedroom, Harry is watching Draco where he goes with the special map of Hogwarts, the name of Draco on the map is misspelled Malpoy.
Correction: No, it most certainly does not. The style of the font used for the all-capitalized "MALFOY" has a decorative flourish at the end of all the letters' (except "O") lines. The "F" you're seeing may seem like a "P" to you, but it is truly an "F".

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Draco attacks Harry on the Hogwart's Express, it appears that they shot to scene at both ends of the train compartment and then spliced the different takes together. If you watch the numbers on the wall above the seats, they bounce back and forth from low to high numbers.
Correction: There is nothing unusual about the seats' numerical order. Seat numbers 1 and 2 are to the left of the door (for which Draco pulls down the shade, and also Luna walks through) and numbers 3 and 4 are to its right, with the numbers increased in each row, so 5-8 are facing 1-4 with the tables between. Draco, who sits farther back facing that door, sits at seat number 14, with 13 to his left, seats 15 and 16 to his right across the aisle, and across the table are Pansy and Blaise in seats 9 and 10, facing Draco. The numbers are perfectly consistent.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: After Draco is escorted out of Slughorn's party by Snape, and Harry begins to spy on them, you can see crew rugs used to quiet Draco and Snape's footsteps. The same rugs are visible earlier in the film when Harry and Ron walk down a corridor after Slughorn's class.
Correction: There is no rug in the corridor when Harry and Ron head toward Slughorn's Potions class (not "after"), and there is no rug in the corridor when Snape pushes Draco up against the wall, while Harry overhears them.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Dumbledore rises to give a speech, the gold owl on his pedestal shakes its head and then spreads its wings, which are perfectly clean. Later during the speech, the wings are shown covered in dried wax from the candles.
Correction: When the owl spreads its wings at the start of Dumbledore's statements, the wings are below the candles, so as the headmaster continues to speak, the melted wax drips down to the wing tips. Absolutely no mistake here.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Harry drinks the Felix Felicis, he appears to drink/down the entire bottle, but the next shot shows that it is still half full. They may have shot both versions because in the book Harry only drinks half and saves the rest for later.
Correction: When Harry starts to drink the Felix Felicis we see some of the liquid emptying, but the fact is we are UNABLE to see whether or not the vial has actually been emptied in this overhead shot. In the next shot facing Harry, we see the vial is half empty. There is no mistake since we cannot determine the amount of liquid that is left in the vial in the first overhead shot.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When the students and teachers raise their wands in salute of Dumbledore, Hagrid is holding a wand like everyone else. He should be holding his pink umbrella, containing the pieces of his wand, which was snapped 54 years previously.
Correction: Hagrid is not holding anything, his hands are down the entire time.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Harry and Dumbledore go into the house where Prof. Slughorn is staying in the beginning of the movie, dragon blood drips onto Harry's head. Dumbledore touches it, but there is blood still left on Harry's head. Once Slughorn is revealed he assesses Harry, but Harry's hair is different and the blood stain is no longer on his forehead.
Correction: There are moments where Harry is offscreen, and that is sufficient time for him to simply wipe away the dot of blood with his left hand/arm, which would also change the bit of the hair at his forehead.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Harry uses the instant darkness powder on the Hogwarts Express so that he can spy on Draco, it is daytime. When everyone clears off the train when they arrive it is night outside. Hermione says "Wheres Harry?". But there must have been at least an hour between when Harry left them and Hermione asks. Why is she only asking where he his now?
Correction: When Harry leaves their cabin, he says, "I need some air," and she and Ron see him take his Invisibility Cloak off the rack. They know Harry wants time to himself so they leave it be. When the train arrives at Hogsmeade Station, she asks, "Where's Harry," BECAUSE the train arrived, since all students are to disembark, and Ron tells her he's probably already on the platform. During the time Hermione and Ron are offscreen (while Harry is eavesdropping), for all we know Hermione could have voiced some concern about Harry's whereabouts and Ron, being Ron, would have said Harry was fine on the train.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: Near the beginning of the film, where Harry is in the train station with Dumbledore, they are talking and Dumbledore lifts his left hand which is severely burnt. Nearer the end of the film when Harry and Dumbledore find out about the Horcrux's, Dumbledore brings out from his drawer a book from the second film and a ring belonging to Tom Riddle's mother. He explains that it was difficult to get the ring, and then holds up his burnt hand, but this time it's his right hand that is severely burnt, not his left.
Correction: It is ALWAYS Dumbledore's right hand that exhibits the blackened sign of being poisoned, not burned.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Ron, Hermione & Harry are sitting in the Great Hall discussing Ron's break-up with Lavendar, there is one row of tables behind Harry - one row behind Ron & Hermione - total, 3 rows of tables. When Harry leaves the Hall, there are 4 rows of tables as there should be.
Correction: Have another look, because there are actually two tables behind Harry, not one. Seated at the table directly behind Harry are Marcus Belby, Dean Thomas and Cormac McLaggen chatting it up, and behind that table is the fourth table with Lavender.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: Professor McGonagall tells Harry that Slughorn will accept students who had Exceeds Expectations on their N.E.W.T. The exams that Harry took the previous year were called O.W.L., while NEWTs are the exams 7th year students take.
Correction: Have another listen. Harry says, "I was told I had to get an Outstanding in my O.W.L." Professor McGonagall responds, "So you did, when Professor Snape was teaching Potions. However, Professor Slughorn is perfectly happy to accept N.E.W.T. students with Exceeds Expectations." This means Slughorn's Advanced Potions class is for N.E.W.T. level students. There is no mistake.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: [SPOILER WARNING] After Dumbledore finishes drinking the potion in the cave, it is Harry who takes the horcrux from the basin and puts it in his pocket. However, when Harry approaches Dumbledore's dead body, the very same locket had seemingly fallen out of Dumbledore's pocket and Harry takes it again. Actually, it should be in his pocket already.
Correction: There was plenty of time for Harry to have given the locket to Dumbledore, at any time during their boat ride out of the magically enhanced cave, offscreen, just after Dumbledore parted the flames with the spell, until they actually apparated once outside the cave's entrance.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: Before Dumbledore takes Harry by side-along apparition to see Slughorn, he tells Harry to hold his left arm because his right hand is all shriveled up. When they apparate away from Slughorn's house to the Burrow, Harry grabs Dumbledore's right (i.e. the wrong) arm.
Correction: First off, there is no "wrong" arm. Dumbledore still has use of his right arm/hand despite the poison, as seen on a few occasions, including when Harry takes hold of Dumbledore's right forearm as they Apparate from the Astronomy Tower to the cave's location and also when Dumbledore holds his wand with his right hand within the cave. Secondly, both when going to and leaving Budleigh Babberton, Harry takes hold of Dumbledore's left forearm for the Side-Along Apparition.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When Harry opens the potions book the first time, it says, "This book belongs to the Half Blood Prince" with blood underlined 3 times. When Ginny opens it, it says, "This book is property of the Half Blood Prince."
Correction: First, when Harry first opens the book the writing reads "...is property of...", and not "...belongs to...". Second, when Ginny opens the book and says aloud "This book is property of the Half Blood Prince" we are not actually shown the writing that she reads. Third, Harry first opens the book and reads it at the front cover and Ginny opens to the back cover.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: When the necklace is brought to McGonagall, Hermione is to the left, then Ron, then Harry. When Snape arrives and inspects the necklace, Hermione is now in the middle. When the shot shows them again, Hermione is again on the far left side.
Correction: You need to have another look. Ron stands between Hermione and Harry the entire time, from the moment McGonagall thanks Leanne.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: During the Death Eater attack, Mrs. Weasley reaches out to stop Harry before he actually runs away.
Correction: Harry quickly rushes past Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and just as he momentarily stops in front of them Mrs. Weasley shouts and protectively reaches her arm out to him, then he runs after Bellatrix as she shouts, "No!" There is no problem with how that is played out.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: At the welcoming feast, Dumbledore mentions Tom Riddle, and the name causes all of the students to start talking. Very few, if any, of the students should know what Voldemort's real name was.
Correction: Voldemort's public return at the Ministry of Magic happened before school let out. Between then and the start of the new term, during which Harry's been dubbed as the 'Chosen One', it is really not inconceivable that a number of the students would have come to know Voldemort's real name (within the film's world) and then whispered it to others who didn't know.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Corrected entry: In the Christmas scene at the Burrows, while Mr. Weasley talks to Harry alone, he is sitting behind an old muggle stereo that suddenly disappears.
Correction: In the shed, when Mr. Weasley takes a seat the record player is lying in front of him on some other stuff. As he and Harry speak, each time the shot faces Mr. Weasley the camera pans in towards him, closer and closer, over the record player. With each shot of him, less and less of the record player is seen at the bottom of the screen, and in the next to last shot of Mr. Weasley we can still see a bit of it at the bottom. So by the last shot of Mr Weasley the camera is right up in front of him and the record player is simply not seen.

Correction: When Harry's talking to Dumbledore while the Headmaster is being mawkish, note the tall cabinet with two large glass doors behind Harry. When Dumbledore starts describing their journey's dangerous destination, as Harry is walking toward the railing it is actually Harry's mirrored reflections (two separate reflections), which can be seen (walking just like Harry) on each of those two large glass doors at the right side of the screen. Dumbledore's faint moving reflection can be seen a bit as well. (Having the DVD player settings set on bright helped confirm the correction).
