Continuity mistake: When Shepard pulls Johnny down the stairs, then seizes the boy menacingly, Frank points a shotgun at Shepard and tells him to let Johnny go. In the three close-ups of Frank, note the handcuff around his wrist. When Shepard tells Frank that he'll snap Johnny's neck, in the next medium shot facing Frank, the handcuff is around his wrist the opposite way, and then it reverts back to the original way.
