Continuity mistake: When Nick is talking to Catherine about what happened at the night of the murder he folds his arms. In the next show they are unfolded. Although you can't see his arms entirely, it becomes clear from the position of his shoulders and the wrinkle in the middle of his shirt that instantly disappears.

Continuity mistake: Season 9, episode 3 "Art Imitates Life": When J. Skaggs is being interrogated by Brass he has his hands on his lap. In the next shot they are both on the table.

Continuity mistake: When Catherine walks up the stairs, Horatio Caine aims his gun upwards. In the next shot he has his arms down. (00:36:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Warrick pulls the piece of clothing from the toilet, the amount of water and dirt in the bowl changes between each shot. (00:14:00)
