Trivia: As well as being allergic to glycerine, Sigourney Weaver was allergic to Jones. She didn't know that she was allergic to cats and thought that Ridley Scott might have her replaced, however he didn't mind as long as she didn't.

Alien (1979)
Suggested correction: Weaver was actually allergic to the combination of glycerine and the cat hair specifically. Once they stopped using glycerine, she was able to work with the cat without any trouble.

Casino Royale (2006)
Corrected entry: In casting Daniel Craig as the new James Bond, the filmmakers broke with the tradition, starting with Roger Moore, of using an actor who had previously been up for the role. (Sean Connery had been chosen over Moore, Moore over Timothy Dalton, and Dalton as a last-minute replacement for Pierce Brosnan.).
Correction: In Roger Moore's book he wrote that he was never approached to play Bond in Dr. No.
The Inside Dr. No documentary has archival footage of producer Harry Saltzman saying they planned to use Roger Moore in Dr. No, but he was unavailable.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011)
Corrected entry: In the final confrontation between Holmes and Moriarty it is revealed that Holmes switched Moriarty's notebook with a copy. Moriarty opens the copy to find a small page by page cartoon referencing dialogue between the two characters during the same scene when the notebooks were switched. It is impossible for Sherlock to have drawn the cartoon between the moment that Moriarty says the line and the moment when the notebooks are switched.
Correction: Sherlock is a deductive genius who wins fights by predicting exactly what his opponent is going to do next, even subtly guiding them to do it. It wouldn't have taken much effort at all for him to have directed the conversation to more or less match the cartoon he'd drawn ahead of time.
Correction: Holmes knows that Moriarty is a fan of Schubert, having heard him listening to one of his songs when meeting him at the college. He probably drew the cartoon afterwards based on that knowledge to rub salt in the wound, even if he didn't know that Moriarty would specifically reference The Trout when they encountered each other.

Superman II (1980)
Plot hole: When Superman becomes human for Lois, the molecule chamber nearly rips him apart, he suffers. At the end of the movie, when he tricks out of the evil 3 and turn them into humans with the same radiation, they are just looking around, wondering about the strange lights, but don't suffer at all.
Suggested correction: Well it's established that Superman has altered the machine. Maybe he also reprogrammed it to not leave signs of their powers being removed.
